The staff at the hotel was helpfull and kind. We had two rooms before we found a room, where we felt at ease. Whenever you went out or came back to the hotel the staff did everything to be at your help - always smiling. We parked in front of the hotel for free and the receptionist took care of us, so we parked without problems. A hotel where you felt, you were a wanted guest. Location: The hotel is situated in center of collonial district. There is collonial architecture around. The staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is on opposite road side and staff look on it for free. So it's qute safe place.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. I had an inside room 208 that was very quiet, and cozy. Ac worked fine. Very clean, friendly, good wifi. The terrace is a great place to chill out and read a book. Location and security, door manned 24hrs. Arrived early morning before checked in time but let us have a room so we can rest and offered breakfast. That was so nice. Stuff was so friendly and did every thing to help us. Good value for money. Great breakfast on the rooftop and a short walk to restaurants and bars in Zona Colonial. The rooms towards the street were noisy in the afternoon, when we wanted to take a nap. Ac\dc connectors are rare and looks like Columb did it 5 centure ago. Breakfast was a bit sparse and the fruit/milk/water/juices etc were not chilled which needed to be as it is served on the open terrace. Bread was hard as left open to the heat. I would still stay here though and eat breakfast. Shower's hot water was just warm not so hot. Had to take cold shower. Wifi not working in room but good reception in common areas. Aircon system and street a little noisy. The rooms lacked refriderators and the TV's could be updated. Only warm water for showers, but tolerable. nothing. Was a little uncomfortable about the aroma when entered the rooms initially.(did not report it) But after the rooms were cleaned the next day they were okay. nada. We felt like it was overpriced for what you get. We had booked a bigger room but had no windows and it wasn't very clean. We prefered walking around with our little boy while he was taking a nap in his stroller because we did not want to spend too much time in the room. Not sure I would return. a few mosquitoes flying around inside the room, not a big deal tho... squashed them all. Barely working AC. Hole in sheet. Dated room, specially bath room. rooms need a little bit more update and better cleaness. The price on bookings.com was $57 us. When I got to the hotel they charged me $62 us plus tax. He said something about "two different ways to tax" nonsense. The rooms need serious attention. Size was fine but dated and baths really need updating. The room key system is the most arcane useless I have ever used and I have travels a great deal. I kept getting locke doug of my room. The mooing I was locked out for over an hour then they had workmen inside of my room for another hour. Causing me to miss appointment and runic my last day in DR. Do you think they offered me any type of discount or apology, NOPE. I would never stay there again. I.
