I booked a smoking room in Scandic Front on letsbookhotel.com. It was hard to
find, as most of hotels in Copenhagen are totaly non smoking. So imagine
my dispair when at the reception I learned that Scandic is non smoking
too. That's when the personnel's attitude was highly
appreciated: they gave us a room on the top floor (6th) with a terrasse
where you can go out and smoke. Also, they let us check out later (at
14.00) free of charge and brought plenty of free nespresso capsules for
the coffee. all reviews
It was very clean and the staff was very helpul. The price was good for Copenhagen, but the room needed refurbishing; quite a few nicks and dings.Breakfast was excellent. And if you like Nyhavn, the location is great.
Very Good location. Great nieghbourhood. Queen of Denmark lives only 5 minutes away. NyHavn with great promenade and Restaurants 2 minutes away.
The hotel is placed in perfect location very close to Nyhavn, Amalienborg and other attractions. Good staff, excellent breakfast.
Location was excellent. Within walking distance of the major sights in Copenhagen. The restaurant food was exquisite!.
Location! Nice to be close to Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv. Walking distance to most of our interest places.
Normal breakfast with free orange fresh. Free table football )). Very close to sightseeing places.
Relaxed atmosphere, very professional staff and friendly. Location superbly central.
Nice design of hotel room and bathroom. Excellent shower facilities.
The always friendly welcome of the staff at the reception desk.
Great staff, good location and nice funcional rooms.
The staff response to customer needs is superb.
Good location, helpful staff.
Good rooms, good location.
the restaurant.
Location.
Great location, near to tourist canals and canal boat tours. An easy
walk into city centre and the Little Mermaid. Foyer had a friendly
atmosphere.
Friendly front desk personnel. Breakfast buffet was good. Good location.
A clean hotel, nice furniture, decent position, nice staff.
The location.
The colors.
location. Nice shower, clean room, warm floor (carpet), good bed.
The location was good (apart from the nearby construction site), with relatively close metro access and the breakfast, which was included in our room price, was fine.
Shower pressure.
Coffee machine at lobby.
Orange juice press at restaurant.
Free wifi access and staff were very pleasant.
nothing.
Everything was impeccable, just a small thing - there are bathing robes
in the room but no slippers (which would be natural).
A bit too expensive. But considering that it is Denmark, that is how it is.
There was a construction site just near the hotel. And a bit crowdy on the breakfast sometimes.
Small rooms, but comfortable and very clean.
Breakfast space somewhat crowded when many guests appear in the morning. Could be more vegetables offered. Otherwise excellent!.
Nothing.
No parking
No opportunity to eat after 10pm and we arrived late. No snack food
Bathrooms need updating.
A tiny detail but the door of the lift is very heavy - always complicated when carrying 2 bags/a coat etc.
The cost of the hotel is high.
Usual minimalist Scandinavian interior.
Clean but of Premier Inn quality.
Towels were old and thin.
There is major harbour buiding works ongoing immediately adjacent to the hotel. Some noise from 6am - but main noise from around 7 am.
AC very poor and due to construction work outside couldn't open window due noise.
Hotel decoration was tired and in need of attention and maintenance.
Compared to other hotels we stayed in on this European holiday I think
the rate charged was excesive.
no ramp to wheel in luggage, and no one to help. Your hotel was listed in my guide book as luxury, and it wasn't. The elevator was hard to open and struggle with luggage, and very small. Eating area was small, and crowded. Room was very average, definitely not luxury.
Looked a bit ragged, small worn lift, worn carpets, pretty expensive for the size of the room and having no view.
our room, at the backside, was noisy because of trucks arriving and leaving, just under our window, very early in the morning.
Too crowdy at the breakfast.
dated decoration and poor standard of room. Too noisy room, close to the elevator, on top of the reseptionarea and over the entrence...
This hotel is seriously overrated, as it certainly does not merit 4 stars. Due to poor construction and lack of maintenance there is peeling paint in the bathroom. Just outside the hotel is an active construction site on which work daily commenced at or before 6AM. Last, the level of service is just above that of a youth hostel. All in all, this was a big disappointment.
Outdated and consumed room.
Poor bathroom needs total replacement.
Very old and outdated elevator.
My room was very dirty, looked like it hadn;t been cleaned in a LONG time.
I only stayed for one night, booked two. Moved the second night to a different hotel, that say´s it all !.
When you are on a busy street you pretend to have double-glass Windows.......
Small Room and too expensive. No Parking.
First of all the room was not clean especially the toilet and housekeeper also did not make the room more cleaner. No slipper and the carpet is dirty. This hotel can not be in a luxury hotel at all!!!!.
