The town of Telc is a delight, like a step back into history and all so well preserved. The apartment is directly located in the middle of the adorable town square with another 70 beautiful 16th century houses around it. It was amazing to stay in a house that dates back so many centuries but the most outstanding was the modern design of the apartment (no. 1), ie the combination of the history (vaulted ceilings, heavy doors, stone entrances etc) with the utmost modern and totally tasteful design.

We loved walking out the door straight onto the main square of Telc which is so beautiful. The apartment was quiet even though it is on the main square. There is everything we liked about the apartment. Perfect location in the city centre. Friendly staff.. Fantastic apartment with huge rooms and everything you expect from a 5 star hotel... Even more than that.. Fireplace, collection of DVDs, bathtub with jacuzzi, well equipped kitchen n the list goes on.. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the cozy town of telc.. This is the best hotel experience we have had duing the 9 days in Czech. Only regret is we stayed in Telc only for 1 day. Would love to come back just for this better than excellent hotel. Huge rooms and finely furnished, with 3 large windows facing right onto the square, a UNESCO site. Book early, because they only have 4 (?) suites available. We had booked the upper apartment but at the request of the owner, we were moved to the huge ground floor apartment. This apartment was quite adequate with a well equipped kitchen. A/c included. Carparking on the main square was available once the owner gave us the parking permit. Walking out the front door onto the main square. ALL!!!! Telč is wonderfull, the square is wonderfull and the house, which is situated on this square, is also wonderfull / apt nr 4 with lake view, combination of history and contemporary design, very big and very clean, kitchen with nice equipment and minibar, wine etc.../ and staff very very friendly !!!. Room is a nice design, clean and comfortable. There is a small garden where have a nice lake view, you can have BBQ in there. It is just near the square, and the lake. We just walk to the lake 5 minutes by walk. We liked everything about this beautiful apartment! A splendid location in a very special little town. Spacious and well decorated rooms with lots of space and a nice garden. Friendly staff!. The apartment is more than expect! Look very nice and in-style!! It's in the center of old town. The history of the house was described in a folder but one in Czech. Please consider your foreign visitors. This is a 400 year old building. If you have heavy luggage, be prepared to lift up through the narrow stairs, not unlike many other boutique hotels. Apartment is split over 2 levels with about 6 steps between the two levels. The rear windows which looked onto the garden had not curtains for privacy ( which really wasn't a concern since I believe there was a lake behind the property) however in the morning the sun shone directly onto our pillows. letsbookhotel.com describing the apartment as exceptional, is a little excessive . nothing!!!. That we spent only one night. The person at the reception (on december) didn't speak any foreign language. Anyway, thanks mister Google for the translation!.
