It was my 5th time in Prague, and I can say, it was the best place from all where I used to stay. 1. Perfect location. Few minutes from all touristic spots. 2. Very friendly staff, russians, who was helpfull and kind. 3. New, clean room with washing machine, kitchen, nice bed... everything what I needed. Incredible pillows =0 4. Price! Was pretty low for this location. I can say I really feel there like at home! I will definatly stay there again next time. Strongly recommend!.
all reviews » the location is absolutely superb. there is also a metro station right in front but its in construction now. still there is another on in 3-5 mins. walking distance. also next to TESCO, great for grocery shopping. even though it is right next to a main street and a construction sight inside the room there was no noise coming in. the kitchen had everything supplied. liked that there was a microwave. great service and help from the staff :). The location was fantastic, so close to the main sights. And it was fantastic to have an apartment. After living in hotels (1 room) for the last 6 weeks, it was wonderful to have two rooms, with a lounge and a washing machine and appliances to cook yourself if you so wish. The room was super comfortable as was the bed, and the value for money was excellent. I would stay again and recommend it to others without hesitation. Thank you. Location is perfect, it is in the middle of the city centre where you have all the shops around,metro station is only 100 metres away, staff is so friendly, the room has a small kitchen with a microwave and there is also a washing machine in the bathroom,the bed is large and very comfortable. We have a nice stay at the apartment and near city area. However it may not be easy to find the apartment unless you are lucky to find a local people with a map for direction. It may help if the host gives some directions from metro station even it is near the metro station. Great location, good price, friendly staff, late checkout is super at 12pm, lifts for heavy beer shopping, well-and-complete utilities... very amazed, well-designed and spacious studio, warmed bathroom floor.... will definitely revisit ! very happy with overall quality. We can go everywhere so easy , just walking distance to old town, new town, even Prague castle too. The building was very old and it looked not nice. But inside room was no problem, clean room and bathroom, modern style room. Just a short walk and your in the downtown square. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than advertised. The design of the room and living space was no to standards advertised. The shower was not properly sealed and water kept leaking out into the bathroom floor. The shower hold was fixed vertically to the wall and you could not swivel or move it use it in the true sense of using a shower. You had to remove the shower from the wall the get the water over yourself. Everything was perfect. it would have been better if there was a darker curtain, no morning sleep cause there is too much light coming in. would be nice to have a trash bin also in the bathroom. not only one for the whole room. I could have used a toaster, and tea towels!. There is no black out in the window, so when the sunshined I was not able to sleep well because of the light. It is better if there is a toaster and the window can be opened as there is no aircon and it is a bit stuffy. Dirty and sticky floor. black stains everywhere. Please motivate your cleaning staff!. Very noisy- my window overlooked the street with noise from continuous construction from metro building site at end of street, garbage trucks starting at 5am and late night and early morning drinkers on their way home. Not for those who are light sleepers which is a shame cos everything else about the apartments are fantastic- maybe just request an apartment at the back. Old building, so doors were a little noisy. Do not have city map but can get it from the tourist information at Metro station. Our room had a few flaws: cup doesn't fit to coffee machine on height, hood doesn't connect to electricity, hasn't clean facilities and no additional bin in bathroom, no additional blackout curtains (sun rising in 5-6 am really makes you discomfort). Exteriorbuilding was grey and boring, but other than this no complains!. Nearby area is under construction so a bit untidy. -bad smell in bathroom. No Air-conditioner, yet there's some small fans which can be borrowed from the reception and it's actually quite cool at night, so it's alright. Though, as we are seldom stayed in the apartment during midday, so we cannot tell how's the condition during that period. The apartment is very noisy, Its possible to hear any movement of the lift or other occupants around. The street seems bad and the entrance a bit dark, but it's pretty safe. No problems. * Needs thicker windows to block out outside noise. The entrance to the building a bit...dark. walls too thin and some noise from the neighbours. the room is quite nice and clean, however i did not see the cleaning service of the hotel. While booking, there is written, that you will pay cash in local currency (CZK) during check-in, which is not true. They charged money in advance from my credit card and it costs me 3 euro more on bank fees and exchange rate. Resepsion was unavailable after night, it was problem, when you have issue and solve. We forget our phone charger at home and come back to take but nobody came and solve our problem. and there was no hook in badh. They are still renovating or moving in?. doorlocks were not easy to negotiate. hard to find. Dust under the bed Hair in the sink The staff messed up our reservation, we had to take a room instead of an apartment. Although the receptionist was very kind and gave us a fair discount, it was very disappointing. The walls are thin, bring ear plugs ;). very noisy. I paid cash in hotel. But you still keep blocked 100 euro on my card number...0717. Please unblock this amount. Parking, they don`t own parking place, the nearest parking is in the karlovo namesti, 600kc per day. It was very difficult to find a hotel. There was no sign, no direction sign board not at all, and was located along narrow passege that was not on the map. Actually, this was not hotel, yes apartment style hotel, so just old building. Whoelse can know people stay in this building... It took an hour to find the place. The Hotel sign is ridiculously small and in the most awkward location. The parking is terrible. Being that the hotel is on a one-way and dead end street, its almost impossible to unload your car and leave it in a secure spot... The rooms are extremely noisy and the pillows are flat as can be. The windows don't open so there is no option for ventilation. The outside of the building was poor with no signage. It is scared about the elevator and whole building. Facilities. I asked for 2 single beds and I've got a queen. but no problem. By "Old Prague Appartments" they actually mean a really old and not charming at all building with appartments decorated with cheap Ikea stuff. It was really loud at night and there were crazy pigeons under my bed for sure! Don´t go there. Plus, if you check in really late, be prepared for some unfriendly reception! Good Luck!.
