The location is perfect! It just locates on the mountain where has the castle and many green trees. The staff are nice and helpful, they helped us to find which tram we should take since the Charles Bridge was closed in the reason of flud:( But it's very close to the old town. just take 15-minute walk through another bridge. The first night there were only four girls including me living in a 10-people room, so we had a very good sleep. The bathroom is large and clean, and there is also a sep.
all reviews » We stayed at 10 mixed dorm but in fact it was two separate rooms for 5 ppl both. We had our separate bath and toilet for 10 ppl. Plus there were additional bath and toilet on the floor so we never had problems with having shower. In general there very much space and flowers in the corridors and a nice terrace on the top floor. It is in the very centry and each time you have nice chance to cross Charles bridge. and administration staff is great!!. Where can I start. Prague is wonderful in general. What a beautiful city and great cuisine. As for this hostel - more like hotel. Rooms are grand - I had a double room and felt like 20 others could have stayed with us. And for the price - it was so cheap it made me double take when paying. Staff are so informative and love to help and just great all around. Would come back in a heart beat. Stuff is very friendly ans helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Sound insulation of the room is really good - just snoring neighbours in your room will disturb you:). Location is also good - just 10 minutes from metro station Malostranská. Free Wi-Fi and lockers under your bed. Highly recommended for stay. I loved the other people there. People were friendly and willing to hang out and talk. The staff was helpful and inefficient. The beds were comfortable and the blankets were wonderful. Also, you had your own locket with the cost of the hostel. (Yay!) The bathroom was also quite clean. The staff are really helpful and friendly.the facilities are in good condition and a great locker has been provided. Cheap breakfast - big variety of food. Close to the castle. Even the window were on the street it was not noisy. Right next to the castle and close to old town and Charles bridge. The dorm bedroom I was in had individual beds not bunk beds. This was a nice change. A fridge and microwave for food. The breakfast looked good, although I cooked my own. The location is great, very near to the castle! The room is clean. The most important thing is that the staff here is so nice and so helpful! If I come to Prague again, I will choose this hotel for a second time!. The wifi connection was not good in room on the second floor. Halfway up the castle road, so with luggage was rough. But otherwise the hill isn't that bad. The shower/tub was a bit strange. No curtain, but you can lock the bathroom. So it got quite wet if people weren't careful showering. The bathtub didn't have a 'stand up handle', so if you wanted a shower you'd have to hold the shower head yourself. quite difficult to find this hostel. - that two awfull women that clean our room!! they was discussing us on czech (and we do understand what they talking about!), - they had never clean the floor in the room!! all that 9 days!! - storage system "bitten" me!. the kitchen wasnt that great. The drape had some spots on it. The bathroom is not very comfortable. Having a bath rather than a fixed shower, not a good idea in a ten bed room. Nothing. I think I may have been double charged, but there was an issue with my bank account so I don't know. Hot spot is not around in rooms. Pillows. When you stay in a room with 9 other people, you must be lucky if no one wakes you up in the middle of the night, smokes in the room etc. The hostel is very well run, they make all effort to keep bathrooms clean, but again, when 10 people use them twice a day you will inevitably find hair in the bath tub, water on the floor etc. Wifi is not covered my room. I need to go to another shared room or downstirs for using it. Check-in till 19:00. A guy brunia borrowed 200 krone and never returned. - noisy rooms, even after 10pm. could say - common toilets - one toilet shared among 9 residents... No kitchen. first day a problem with water leaves the entire structure without water so we stay 24 hours without possibility to have shower or use WC. reception employes don't give us information about it and don't offer us water by bottles or refunds. Very bad experience. Wi-fi in certain parts of the hotel were non-existent. Most of the private rooms have detached showers and toilet facilities...very annoying and inconvenient. The hostel is rather far from most sights in Prague and Old Town, and the location is up on a hill and can be daunting after you've spent a whole day of sightseeing. Nothing to add I just been one night. Maybe just missing a changing room near the locker, a few stools would help. It's far from the metro .
