I stayed in the superior room which was indeed that.View from room is amazing and room was large enough to host parents and two young children (10 months, 3.5 yrs). Exellent city view from the balkony (Executive floor). Service ismagnificient.Perfect value for the service provided. I stronglyrecommend this hotel.very comfortable large room with balcony and smart large bathroom. Food excellent. Great view of city, set behind castle. Swim in pool good.

It is 15 minutes walk or a bus ride from nearest metro station. Far away (5-6 km) from the city center. Though they have shuttle busservices for the castle and metro station.Is too far to walk into town and their free transport stops at 5pm. The taxi they recomend is very expensive. Hotel would not suffer from a luxoury makeover with some art works, am sure this was in the original plans. not actually,just get a real limosine! :). breakfast could be improved. the only thing was the pool was a bit cold but you could over look that as everything esle was excellent.We were late on the day of arrival, we wanted to call to assure they keep the room for us, but nobody answerd the phone. Ordered breakfast to the room which never arrived.The shuttle bus service to the metro station and castle should be more often and until late. I've reserved double superior room with double bed, but i got standard room. After discuss with hotel staff they've said that they don't have superior rooms with double bed and i can choose: standard room with double bed or superior room with twin beds. Internet connection should be for free.Need to pay extra fee for swimming pool, sauna and such. It was a bit of a walk to the tram station... also a little out of town.Not anymore 5-star hotel (as it probably was in 80s) but rather 4-stars with some wear and tear. Breakfast was quite basic. Location is bit far from public transportation (but hotel has shuttle bus). Internet connection didn't work in our room. unable to use restaurant due to film production at time of visit, thought room service was a bit expensive, no bath robes in room as advertised, no tea/coffee making facility in room and tap water cloudy so only drinks availiable were in mini bar.Exterior of hotel and reception is tired and dated. swimming pool was ridiculously small. The hotel was a long walk up hill from the nearest public transport stop, but if you book the shuttle bus going from and back to the hotel this is not a problem. Quality of food is not up to the standards you'd expect from a 5 star hotel.The staff was rather unfriendly and the breakfast buffet was not 5-star like. location is far from center.The breakfast was limited, and internet access should be free. internet on the room free of charge is standard in the hotel of your category. The resturant vas to expensive and the selection was limited. 80's hotel structure and some 70's funiture, some hotel stuff can't speak proper english, room temperature was always too high and humidity levels are so low (tons of throat pains, woke up in the middle of the night and drink everything from the minibar, maybe it's their policy!), room service for breakfast not so gentle, pay tv present but not working (just czech or german channels and bbc).this is our second stay at this hotel and we must say that breakfast is much worse than it use to be. The selection of food was so bad that we had to complain. This is not very complimentary for 5 star hotel. Also the cleanliness got worse. When you stay at this hotel for longer period, they forget to dust and vacuum. Breakfast was awful! The spa was run down and in need of renovation.The attitude of staff at reception when we arrived was terrible. We just asked for the way to the closest metro station, but what he told us until I complain him strongly was "That way." without showing map and metro station is about 10min.walk fm the hotel... Waiting staff at meals unhelpful. Had to be asked to provide information or cutlery.

Hotel Praha was officially opened in 1981 and is an excellent example of modern Czech architecture of the 1980s. The hotel was originally exclusively constructed for the purpose of providing accommodation for official state visits and delegations.

The hotel is situated in 8 hectares of private park just off the main road that connects Prague’s Ruzyne International airport (Letiste Praha) with the city centre. Just 10 minutes drive from the airport, the hotel is also just 15 minutes by car from Prague’s beautiful historic city centre. The nearest public transport is approximately 2 minutes away.

Prague Castle (3 km) - The castle is the most popular tourist attraction in Prague and the largest ancient castle in the world, covering 7.28 hectares, it is 570 metres long and 128 metres wide.

Katedrála svatého Víta (Saint Vitus’ Cathedral) (3 km) - Located within Prague castle, Saint Vitus’ Cathedral is the seat of the archbishop of Prague. The cathedral contains the tombs of many Bohemian kings and is an excellent example of Gothic architecture.

All rooms are newly reconstructed in order to fulfill the highest demands of our guests to the equipment and standard of all services. All rooms have large terrace and offer breathtaking view to the panorama of Prague.

We offer three room types: Double Standard, even more spacious Double Superior or Junior Suite which consist of separate bedroom and living room.

Rooms in Standard category are designed for guests who are looking for comfort during their work as well their leisure time. These rooms have spacious bathrooms with bidet and hair drier and separate WC. The latest modern equipment, mentioned above, includes chip card lock and safe suitable also for laptop.

Rooms in the Superior Category offer even more space. They have the same equipment as Standard rooms.

Maximum comfort, that is what you can find in Junior Suite with separate living room. Additionally they are equipped by LCD TV in the bedroom and separate shower corner with Raindance shower.

The hotel is accessible for disabled guests and 2 rooms are suitable for wheel chair users and have specially adapted bathrooms.
