Modern and clean. Modern elevator. Spacious rooms, large bathrooms. Good sound insulation - loud noises in corridor could not be heard once door was closed. Same with windows - two layers of windows to the street so very quiet despite loads of construction next door. Excellent range of foods for breakfast, large dining area. Breakfast available to 10:30! So we even slept in a few mornings. Fridge and kettle in rooms, also selection of reasonably priced drinks in the fridge and downstairs bar. V.

We visited 8 countries around Europe and we had the best breakfast ever in Augustus Otto Hotel. Their cheff Socrates did a very good job and made us feel very well with his kindness, as well as Marco. We are a family of 7 and like to travel. In México we are used to having a very good service and we were mising that until we got to this hotel. Besides, it´s ver confortable, clean, big rooms, walking distance to downtown. I really recomend it. + Secure private parking for 14.50€ per day (they charged us for two days but allowed us to let the car parked for a few additional hours on our check-out day) + friendly staff + fridge in the room + breakfast buffet (fresh fruit, cake, diverse types of bread and rolls, cheese, ham, salami, (self made?) jam, eggs, potatoes, ...) + free wifi (though it was not too strong, we had to stand next to the door to receive it). We were given the Superior Room because they were overbooked, and they charged us the price of a regular Double room, no extra charges. Room was great, clean, comfortable, incredible value for money. Service was good, the staff at the reception recommended to us a nice place to eat Czech food. Breakfast at the hotel was great, lots of variety. The location is not in center but good enough for the money. It is close to the public transportation. The room is big, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are professional and nice. The breakfast is plenty and ok. There is a good sized safe box in the room, you need to pay a deposit to get the lock. The location is perfect, about 15 minutes walking (with beautiful views) from all the important city points, the staff was hepfull with the questions and requests and the breakfast is good. This is the 5th time in this hotel, and the reason is excellent location for affordable price. Everything in centre is within 20 minute walk and you don't need transport. If you expect a four star hotel according to average European standard, this is not what you want. The room was rather small and not perfectly clean (hairs on the bathroom floor), but as we only payed 65€ for two nights, I wouldn't ask for more. A little hard to find, it is slightly off the main street, but very near to the Zborovska tram stop. The street is a little hard to find if you don't have a map, so make sure you have a map in hand. The TV is small. Nothing, all was good. 4F,elevator only reach 3F,heavy and inconvenient for girls,a bit time- consuming to airport. Buffet for breakfast could be more variable. There was no internet all the five days I was there, the wi-fi connects only at the ground floor near the reception. I found the parking expensive (14 euros per night). The temporary air- conditioning was not sufficient for the room.. But the weather that week was exceptionally hot. Only 1 very small towel in the bathroom. Draft in the breakfast area. Only in the last day, it became clear that it is possible to order in English or French breakfast. in the evening problems with internet, very small TV in the room and among 200 TV channels -really nothing to watch. Instant coffee, bad wifi signal in the room. But still it was really good stay!!. 4 star hotel look similar as B&B. The TV screens too small ( must have been 14" or similar). Limited option for breakfast. For the leaving time should be more flexible. If it is14.00 or 15.00 p.m. instead of 12.00, it would be perfect. internet. Location is about a 20-30 minute walk from the center of town. However, the walk is along the river so very pleasant. There are also nearby public transport options. the view from our room to the yard with an old, unrenovated building in sight. We got an attic room during summer and it was extremely hot in a sunny afternoon!. poor equipment for 4 stars. They asked 6 euros to hand me the remote of the AC. We asked for a double bed and they just put two beds together. Not 4 stars -overall I would give 3 stars maximum. WiFi was not working. It was not possible to attend the restaurant in the evening, the only option was to purchase bottled drinks. I thought it was a little dusty and the courtines didn't block the lights from outside. Breakfast was a little poor. The bed is to small. bad soundproofing in the room, in my room hairdryer was absent. only one TV chanel (russian speaking), nothing else. very poor breakfast. The rooms. Bad surprise by paying the bill. You can pay in Euro only in cash. If you pay by credit card then the Euro ammount will be converted into Czech crowns (czk) by fantasy exchange rate - nearly 10% over the real value. So in fact you are paying 10% more... At first of all it's not four stars hotel. Here is so many faked comments about. Old furniture in rooms, minimal breakfast. The price, We had to pay in Czeck Crone, and they used a very terrible rate, which result that we had to pay 10% more, then what was agreed on the site by letsbookhotel.com.
