I booked a single room and it was very comfortable (unlike some grotty single rooms in some hotels) with a TV, phone, 2 comfortable chairs and a comfy bed. There was a nice clean en-suite shower room with loo. I had read that there were toiletries in the bathroom, which was good, as we had travelled hand luggage only. Unfortunately there was no shampoo only shower gel. But this was soon sorted by the kind and polite gentleman on reception who supplied us with a couple of small bottles of very .
all reviews » The localization of hotel are very good because is far from turistic downtown and near to subways and trams (public transportations). This is good because the city does not operate with Euros, only tchec crouwns, local money, and the there are better currency exchange houses and good restaurants. The view is amazing, its possible to see the castel, mainly at night. Our room was huge & very comfortable with all facilities we required (hair dryer, kettle, fridge, safe, TV etc); the staff were, without exception, friendly and extremely helpful; the breakfast was of good quality and choice; all areas of the hotel were clean. We had a room overlooking the central courtyard so it was also extremely quiet. My room was absolutely massive!! There was even a hot tub and a massage shower in the large bathroom. The location is perfect, just steps away from the Metro and within walking distance of the Museum and Square. I've stayed at various 4 star hotels in Prague but I will definitely be staying at this hotel again :). It is new, from the floor to the ceiling, comfortable with a small terrace and light. Decoration is very nice and well planned. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was the best surprise from the whole trip beating even the 4 and 5 stars hotels I had been (of course not considering services they can offer). The parking garage has a limit in hight to 180 cm, so our bus didn't fit and we had to park 1 metro station away at the congress center... quite expensive parking too. Shower was too small for the fancy water jets installed. - No carpet (please bring flip-flops as the floor is cold) - No wifi in the rooms (but they have it at the front desk and they give you an internet cable for free). Rubbish shower. There was no room service. Breakfast improvable. Too much light inside the room in the early morning (no blinds). Lack of wifi in rooms, internet cable available but only reaches one corner of the bed. Could do with smoking rooms too. Poor variety of bfast menu, wifi only in lobby(!). Rooms have NO WiFi!! Only LAN - cable connection. They should not call it apartment with Kitchenette as there was nothing in the kitchen except a Microwave oven. We took the material to cook the food but you cant cook anything there. So calling it Apartment with Kitchenette is misleading the customers. Although the staff were very good I felt at times they could be better informed ... Not a ton of food options in immediate vicininty. The breakfast is horrible. The staff is not polite. Don't even think on buying local currency in the hotel... They sell it a lot more expensive than other banks and currency exchange houses. No free wifi in the rooms!!!. Unfortunately, we did have very loud neighbors, who bothered us during the night and thus ruined the good impression of the hotel. Rude internet serviceman who barged in and walked on rug with his work boots to show which internet socket worked. People hain smoking in reception area where we could not breathe. I feel for the reception staff who has to putup with un healthy situation. There was no wifi in the room. bad working the Internet. noise from the A/C during the night.
