Spacious bright rooms of Hostel Dakura have wooden flooring, a work desk and a wake up service. All feature shared bathrooms and free toiletries. Guests can relax in a café bar on site. Several restaurants and bars are within walking distance, besides others offering traditional Czech food and drink. A vending machine for drinks and snacks is on site, but also many shops are in the vicinity. Guests can make use of the fully equipped common kitchen too. Loved that it was not right in the city center but very close. Walkable distance so we took advantage of that. Very close to the metro stations as well when didnt feel like walking. Good restaurants and pubs around that are not filled with tourists. We were the only tourists in most pubs and great Czech food unless meat and bread aren't your thing. Hostel value was what we paid, satisfied with service. Got the private room and it was very spacious. With paying a little bit extra for. Love love .

Location was great, as it was close to the metro and within walking distance to the castle. Good choice of restaurants in area. Hostel was very safe and secure. Staff - Dasa, Lucy & Eva were very friendly and accommodating - thank you. It's a best location. 10 minutes to the center. 10 minutes to the very big park with springs, lakes and other and other. 2 minutes to the minimarkets, bars, restourants, 5 minutes to the Metro (Subway). Lowest prices. Reasonable price, convenient access to the airport. Decend one star hostel. The staff is very nice and friendly. Located near Deivicka metro station - 30 minutes to airport on bus 119. In fact, not far from the center, Prazhsky Hrad - walking distance (or one stop on metro). Wi-fi was working in our room actually. They take both Czk and euros. It's located between 2 subway-stations, and not so far from the bus stop to go to the airport. It has a free wi-fi with normal speed. The shower and the toiled were cleaned every morning. There are good new furniture in the room. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful and the room is very clean. The location is near one of the metro stations (green line). I like the location, it is not far away from the castle and the most famous street in prague called Mustika (20-30 minutes by walk). Next time I will chose a place in prague 1. - the location is great, close to public transport (to the downtown and to the airport) - the rooms are spacious. it was near the metro station and it was easy to access the city center with the metro. Kinda dark and wide, reminding me of a hospital. I was kinda scared going to the bathroom and shower every time. Pain to unlock and lock the bathroom doors every time. Most people prob wouldn't have a problem with this. This was the only bad thing I experienced tho. Lots of reviews complained about how you could hear all the doors since it's an old building, but didnt bother us at all since we were so tired and passed out every night. Bed was hard,not very comfortable(but pillows was soft and good). The hallways did echo and you could hear the doors shutting. One night a group of revelers came back and made a lot of noise, but that could happen anywhere. Shower can be better. If this is read by owner of hostel. Kindly ask! Install modern shower!. There was no stable wifi in my room, but maybe you will lucky :). I arrived just after 6pm and apparently, the person at reception takes a break from 6:00 to 6:30pm. It took quite an effort to convince her to check me in since I needed to throw in my bag and leave right away and wasn't going to be back until after midnight (the receptionist is there only until 10pm so leaving without checking in wasn't an option). But it all worked out and the receptionist wasn't that unfriendly at the end; well, I guess what do you expect for this price. It was cold in the room and they didnt have soap in the bathroom. Old-style Soviet obschaga (proletariat hostel). Wc in the corridor. Shower without own light and door. They also take a 300 Czk deposit for keys (we left early in the morning, so didn't pay it). It was to hard to open/close the doors of my room and of the toilet. System of using the kitchen was very uncomfortable for me. I can clearly hear the noise made by my neighbors when they got up at 6 in the morning, but I tended to sleep much longer which I cannot. Low cost in all ways. Toilet out of room. I arrived at 17:55. Door bell was not answered. Reception is closed between 1800-1830 (and also at lunch break) which is not indicated on letsbookhotel.com. No note outside. Not nice to wait for closed door. At 1805 receptionist came out and refused to check me in before 1830. Too much old. Kind of far away from the city. -very noisy, echo from the corridor is huge, you can hear every step like it was an elephant coming -BATHROOMS HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON WITH THESE ON PICTURES!! and are very, very old. toilets are awful! -lack of hot water between 10.30-16.00 -payment from above for the whole stay plus 10 Euro deposit before even seeing the room. -Older staff was rude and not helpful - Wifi only in common area -Toilet paper is actually made of the rough material usually used for drying hands. Far from center. Locks of rooms are very old and it is difficult to open. - the WiFi isn't available everywhere in the hotel - not the good place for a trip with friends or to meet new people - Cleanliness is poor. The bathroom was shared and there was only one kitchen for all the floors! The kitchen had no refrigerator. All things are old. Far away from city centre (Prague 1), no transportation after 1am. The toilet is not very clean at all. Beds are extremely hard compared to other hostels i have tried. Electric socket is not enough in the room (only one for a double room). loudness in the corridors; idle sockets no WiFi on upper floors; only for the experienced travellers. Shower is a one room with 2 cabins, when one man enters it, he/she always locks the second cabin, too. Bad noise isolation, floor squeaks under your feet Location is not very good, comparing to other Prague places. - Noises during the night, - reception does not speak english - toilets did not have toilet paper - showers were not working - no reception between 22:PM - 07:AM. It cost too much, and it has bad room service, bad internet (only in lobby and very slow), has dirty toilets, scary bath rooms. if you can, book the hotel, not this hostel !. - there is no bathroom in the room and its not easy to find them - the hotel suffer from poor lighting - wifi didn't work. we stayed only two nights but it was enough. wc and shower at the end of the corridor and can't say clean. Rooms are so so old and dirty. they're not like the photos. During the night you can easly hear the other people's noise from other rooms. it is not comfortable for families and couples. everything. Relict of soviet times. The toilets were always dirty that I could not use it. The rooms and the furniture are very old.
