The pension is located 5 minutes by walking from the city center in a quiet area along the river. On the other side of the river (reachable by a bridge 5 minutes by walking) there is a playground for kids within a very big green city park. The owner is a lovely lady that tries her best to make you feel at home... and she succeed! It's great to have a discreet person always available when needed. The breakfast's eggs (available in a lot of variants) were cooked in the morning and were delicious.
all reviews » Our host Jana is amazing. She is so eager to please her guests and she has such a happy and bubbly personality. The location is perfect----right in the heart of Cesky Krumlov. Only a 5 minute walk to the plaza and the castle is right there. The food Jana prepared for breakfast is very authentic Czech and delicious. The room is uniquely decorated and meticulously clean. We immediately felt at home. The accommodation matched Jana's warmth in every way. Even with the language barrier we managed to communicate. Our charming bedroom was small but adequate in every way, with windows overlooking the river. The cosy bed ensured a wonderful night's sleep. The home cooked breakfast is 5 star. Pension Po Vode is centrally located within walking distance of all the sights of the old town. Jana IS Pension Po V. The host gave us very warm welcome. They even pick us up at the bus station even we told them that we will go by ourselves as we didn't have the phone to call them. We are very appreciate it. The place is very clean. The bed room is a bit too small for 3 person but comfort enough. We enjoy our stay at Jana's place. She is very very nice, lovely and friendly, although she cannot speak English. But we can communicate with no problem. The room is clean and the location is just nice, near the river, got good view. The breakfast is reasonable and nice!. Nice location directly along the Vltava river with view on the river and the park on the oposite side, close to the historical center of town but still in the calm surounding away from most tourist crowded pathes. Free parking near the house. Kind and willing staff. Small but very clean and comfortable room. The breakfasts made by the owner are plentiful and delicious. They showed n give us info as much as they could. the landlord is quite nice and helpful, the position is good, near the city center. really nice staying. Staff is very friendly and openminded, great location and very warm atmosphere in the guesthoues. The staff is very helpful even she cant speak English. breakfast is good. nothing. Everything was OK. The rooms are small with the reduced ceillings upstairs, but it really doesnt bother the stay in this beautiful town. Hmm. Nope!. nothing.
