I loved their modern decor & location within 5/10 mins walking distance to shopping mall & high street. The breakfast has always been a good selection & clean. You can even eat outside in the garden. The deluxe rooms all have cooking facilities & mini bars with cutlery & the daily room service by the maid was 1st class. Great value for money....A+++++++. The hotel is really next to the inner city, you have to walk ca. 5 minutes to reach the main attractions. It looks like a boutique hotel, must have been recently renovated. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious and the staff was kind enough. We received a free upgrade from standard to deluxe room, which went really beyond our needs. All in all, it was good deal.
all reviews » Very calm location in approx. 8-10 min. walking from the city center and restaurants; very kind staff, clean and large room, minibar. Free Internet connection - stable and extremely fast. One can park just in front of the hotel or in a close secured parking in the very proximity (that we used). This was a excellent hotel. Quite surroundings and close to the Brno city. Staff was friendly and did their best to serve you. The breakfast contained more than average for this class of hotel. A 5-10 min walk brings you to a variety of resturants and stores. Truly fantastic, booked the deluxe double and it was a lovely small apartment. Terrific staff, friendly extremely helpful. Fortunately we found a parking place opposite to the hotel and we must admit that the receptionist kindly promised that she would check it during the night. breakfast is pretty good for the price but I would expect a little bit more sweets (no fresh croissants etc.) There's a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee... Nothing. Refrigerator with mini-bar is very noisy. I was happy but if your an elderly person it can be a bit noisy with a few bars around ,hotel wise no problems at all . Bit soft bed. Parking costs 10-11€/day Parking on street is free on weekends, but impossible to find free places. - the receptionist who welcomed us at the hotel was impolite, rude and arrogant, however the next shift was just great;. There is a steep hill you have to walk up to to get to the city centre, I noticed a gorgeous hotel in the centre which was 4 * and worked out about the same price as I paid, Every where is smoky- no no smoking ban in the city yet. As in many hotel, only thin curtain, so we were wake up at 6am by day light. Not possible to exchange a 1000 Czech note in small. Nothing, probably one of my favorite hotels in Europe. Breakfast can be improve and pillow was too flat for my taste. Pictures look better than the reality. Limited parking area, no air condition in the room. none. needs air condition in the room. For the price I would expect tea/coffee facilities in the room but maybe that's me being picky. Breakfast. Smoking is allowed in the lobby. (There are no such restrictions by law in Czechia.). No bath only a walk In shower Breakfast was not good. Food that was supposed to be hot was stone cold and inedible.The ern for hot water was set at 70 degrees too cold to make tea from. As non smokers we couldn't use the bar in the evening as was full of other guests smoking. In the room on the 4th floor, the "walls" were probably made out of some gypsum board or so, because you could hear every noise from the neighouring room. The room didn't feel like it was freshly cleaned as when we entered we saw candy wrap on the desk that was left either by somebody who viewed the room earlier or by staff. Tv was small and mounted very high and too far from beds for a comfortable viewing. When arrived to the city initially hotel is hard to find which is not a problem later on. 100 czk the bier at the minibar or down at the reception, it is a joke. Breakfast closes at 10:00 even on Sunday (?) Very poor hotel rooms.
