We really loved the total dedication and kindness of the owners, always trying to help and make our stay pleasant....They organised for us transportation to Zagreb that is just 10mn away from the Guesthouse....Nice family, nice food, very kind service... all reviews » Great find in Croatia. Evan was aggreat host. Happy to talk about his country and life and nothing was too much trouble. Property is a bit out of Zargreb but Evan will even share an evening meal with you if you don't want to make the trip into the city. Just lovely. It is a family owned business. The owners looked after us well, were very friendly, spoke English well and helped us find our way around. Velika Gorica is about a quarter hour by car from Zagreb so is is well situated unless you want to live downtown. Clean, friendly, nice bar for guests, good breakfast, able to converse in English, useful for me as I travel through nine countries with my dogs between homes, so learning all but basics is a non starter. Location is perfect for transit or Zagreb city visit. Staff is friendly and helpful. Internet works fine and they also provide a LG Smart TV with browser that can be used for showing live web tv. The hotel was close to the airport and the room was like new; clean and bright. The owner was very friendly. He picked us up at the airport and even made us a meal after the kitchen had closed. Very friendly hosts. They asked if anything is missing. Small pub's and bakery Close to the location. I was very impressed from the cleaness of the rooms incl. Bath-room. We enjoyed the informal, friendly atmosphere. Ivan, the owner, was very engaging and the rooms were impeccable (and included free WiFi and Internet TV). Great guesthouse. Location-good Landlord very helpful, gave easy to follow instructions on getting for getting a bus to take only 1/2 hr to get into Zagreb centre. Second stay in this house.
