  We absolutely loved Villa Carrara.In the heart of the Unesco Trogir old city, you opened your window to look onto the cobblestreets and wonderful atmosphere of Trogir.The hotel looks tiny from outside but the rooms are very cosy,new & bright. We are in our 30's & my mom & friend in their 50's,so all ages will have fun there. The staff ... what people say » were incredible & upgraded us for free to a larger room.Josko was great fun,our rental cars trunk ended up being broken & he waited 3 hours in - We stayed in the apartment - room 1. For the moment we arrived we were taken care of. We were given ice creams,coffee and nothing was any hassle. We even borrowed a beach umbrella. As a family we have travelled alot and I can honestly say the service provided by this team is 5star - exceptional. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and would most definitely return. Some people have mentioned the bells but really, any where in Croatia you hear the bells at sometime! Didn't stop

  Me and my husband stayed here last month with another couple. We where very pleased with the villa. Very good location, beautiful view of the old town, spotless apartment, nice and modern and very clean bathroom. we where very happy to have chosen this one. We had a good walk in the old town of Trogir and a pleasant dinner. Thanks to the owners, it was a very good nigh - The hotel was facing the harbour with beautiful views of sailing boats from the room window. The hotel is just across the bridge from the mainland and prices are significantly cheaper for food & drink, yet you get to the centre in 5 minute walk. Parking was a squeeze but they accommodated us so that was a bonus.

Owner Fabjan and his daughter really went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable one, both so informative and professional, they have office next door, major plus for their business! they recommended Portal travel agent for trips which we used to KRKA, excellent!   We loved our two night stay in this apartment. We had Room 1 with wonderful views across the water to Trogir old town. Very spacious and lovely large balcony. We paid a little extra to be picked up from Split airport at the start of our holiday which was lovely to be greeted and not have the hassle of buses etc. The daughter kindly dropped us o... what people say » ff at the Coach station at the end of our stay. Its wonderful. lovely and helped us oed - Our studio apartment was quite spacious, had a lovely view of Old Town from our private balcony and everything you might need for a few days stay. The hosts made us feel right at home and couldn't do enough for us--picked us up at the airport, helped us in our quest for ice (almost impossible to find in Croatia, but a "must" for a good American cocktail), and even took the time to transfer us to our next hotel in Sibinek!!

  great location - Loved the Palace de Rossi. One suggestion. Our room had a dropped stepbetween one section and the next. Beige stone floor melted into onevisual space and I took a flying leap and gigantic fall. I suggest acolored rug or something to mark the step.

  it is a comfortable and friendly, family run hotel, it is basic but pretty and in a great location. i travel in croatia often and accommodation isn't what we are used to in the uk, but i felt this hotel was really making a huge effort and had a boutique feel. good air con and a lovely garden overlooking the marina and old town of trogir. will stay... what people say » again soon. - The situation was perfect, the staff were delightful, the breakfastexcellent for a small added fee.   very nice family run hotel. ideal for romantic holiday and lazy day on the beach which is only two minutes away on foot.
