  All the staff were of a friendly nature and informative. The location for us was just right for us, out of the way of mass tourists/old town. - Cheap, staff very helpful and rooms had air conditioning. Standard but good value for money.

  Easily one of the most welcoming, helpful and service- oriented hotels we have stayed at. The owner/ manager and his staff went out of their way to make our stay in Dalmatia a most enjoyable and rewarding one. They provided insights on special places to visit (on occasion off the beaten track) and in some cases offered personal guidance and trans... what people say » portation to them. The hotel is new and spotless, and very conveniently located to access both the old city and the waterfront. We highly recommend - The customer service at Hotel Marul was superb. The receptionists were very welcoming when we came in, showed us around the hotel and shared insights/recommendations for dinner and activities in the city. One of the owners, Slavko, was especially helpful. He recommended 2 excellent restaurants while we were there and actually drove us to the restaurants himself.
