What people say
This accommodation can be found within a 15-20-minute walk from the train station, bus station and ferry terminal, which are all located within a block.
We picked up keys from an office, which is combined with an internet café. The apartment was clean and well-kept, if a little on the small side. It came with air conditioning and complimentary wifi.
We stayed at Rusticana on two separate occasions this June. Dean and his wife were very nice and helpful. The first time we were given an apartment with excellent location, a minute on foot from the Riva, the beautiful sea front. The second time we were given another apartment, at another location, merely 5 minutes away from the first.all reviews »
Accomadation was exactly as adevertised, slightly small but as i say that was expected. perfect for a weekend break. Close to everyting - city center, resteraunts and beach. Our host was great, he directed us to some great places to eat an what we should go see.
Accommodation was perfect for what we wanted and exactly as advertised. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. In a great spot, short walk from the city centre and an even shorter walk from Marjan & Vidilica café which is a must.
Great location. Close to the historical sites, also close to harbor, train and bus station. Owner(?)/Manager(?) very friendly and helpful. Kept our bags in the office for a couple of days until we returned from quick trip to Dubrovnik.
Apartments were spacious and had great common areas. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was a really nice addition. Dean had great tips and was extremely helpful.
The place is close to town, clean and comfortable, surprisingly nice when compare to the run down office in narrow street.

Nice little room in the Varos district, but only a few steps away from the Old Town, and 2 mins from the palace.

Modern.
Good location. Friendly staff. Modern room.
Great, the staff, the room, the location.
We liked that it was close to the centre of Split and was in a quiet location. It had all the basic requiremnets we needed and was clean.
Like new.
The first apartment was on the 5th floor of an old building without elevator. Dean had mentioned this in the confirmation. The place was very small, with no view and smelled like an old place. The second apartment was much better, no particular view and a small staircase though.
Bathroom was a little small.
We arrived very late in the night, tired and dirty, but the owner had forgotten to turn on hot water heater. Took a while for us to have hot water for baths.
Make sure to turn on the hot water well in advance of a shower or you will get a very cold shower!.
Frankly, Split is really not much to see, the Palace is pretty run down and no repair, every people is putting gift sales like a free market, also the Krka national park is nothing to see. Either you go to Pleitivet or don't go at all.
not much, really. the place is good as a whole.
- the room is really small and, although it has all the necessary things, is not quite comfortable for a long stay
- would be cool if there was a small kitchen there.
Nothing.
Lack of hot water for the shower.
The bed broke on the 1st night. The owner did attempt to mend it without success and broke the glass lightshade in the process. Despite offering us compensation ie bottle of wine they did not sort the bed and the wine or anything else was not given. the apartmnt is on a steep hill and would be difficult for those with mobility issues. Very narrow winding stairs.
Difficult to find.
