The closest beach is the famous Bačvice Beach, with its numerous bars and entertainment options. Walks along the Riva Promenade and the Forest Park Marjan offer a unique experience of the city and the Mediterranean environment. Peristil Square and Silver Gates are 100 metres from the property. Bus and Railway Stations and Ferry Port are 200 metres away. Split Airport can be reached in 23 km.

We were received by a check in manager that brought us to the apartment. We actually booked a room for just one night but we got an apartment. Much more than what we needed but anyway inside the old city with all the services nearby. Cool and clean location. The parking is available close to the ferry boat area (120 kune per day) and if you are staying for a short period it's better to bring a bag only with the necessary (not the whole luggage) because of the stairs and kind of streets inside .
all reviews » The hostess met us after I called her. Call her when you are in the area, it is not easy to find the apartment. She hopped in our car and helped find a parking space. Orientation to the city.The apartment was clean and appreciated small kitchen. Enjoyed the views of the Adriatic sea and Split from the terrace shared with other apartment dwellers. The apartment came with hostess service as a lady picked us up from the city to show us the way to the apartment. she also gave lots of great tips of what to do around Split and was reachable by phone if we had any further questions, The apartment itself was located 5min walking from the old town with a great view over the harbour and sea. The location of our apartment was fantastic! We had an awesome view from one of the old towers of Diocletian's palace overlooking the promenade. Very clean, nicely furnished with a nice kitchen. Stairs going up are quite the workout with suitcases, but worth the view. Great location, just outside of the old City. The manager was very helpful on making sure someone met us at the apartment and assisted with parking and restaurant recommendations. Overall very happy with the apartment. Good location and value for money. Keyholder Tea Vrgoc very helpful, led us through a maze of ancient streets to our apartment in the middle of this amazing Roman Palace. However, it was nice, big and fit in the old city, next to the palace. No issues. There are two different locations for these apartments. We were at the one just outside the old city. It is on the top floor and there is no lift so watch out if you struggle climbing up the 80 stairs to the apartment. Could not find Lukaciceva Street (not on any map!) for keyholder but Tea made contact by text so all was well. When you get there, you need to call them so they will meet you. We were a little dissapointed to not be staying in the room we had chosen based on the pictures on letsbookhotel.com. However the apartment we were given was lovely. Shower was a bit small. Not a negative, but more a caution. The Tower apartments are great, however the pictures used do not necessarily represent the apartment you are going to receive. Just be aware that your apartment will be within the palace walls but it might not have a view, or be located where the apartments are purported to be. towels were basically hand towels so maybe invest in some larger towels. If that is the only dislike then they are doing ok!. Air condition is in only living room, a bit hot in bedrooms. All the stairs. Difficult to get there, the address not clear, must include directions how to get there. small. Entrance from behind. The apartment we stayed in was not the one we had booked. We were moved out of the palace and in to an apartment block near the beach. It was noisy, it seems that the beach parties go on all night and not what we had in mind when booking. Friends of ours were also moved (not by the same owners) so beware of over-booking. Although we negotiated a discount, I think it should have been offered without us having to ask. We weren't told of the move until we arrived in Split. dirty glasses and dishes in the kitchen, some old used food in the fridge, very old furniture and equpiment, very noisy during the night outside the window, many drunk people screaming, my girlfriend was scared and couldn't sleep during the night, to expensive for a place like that. On the small side, tiny towels, the Rep was in a hurry and wasn't knowledgable about the property - said she'd get back to me with a wireless key and never did. It is complicated to reach the apartment because there is not any reception, and It is necessary to phone and wait someone arrives. Very uncomfortable bed, we could't have any rest. Very small shower. It would also be nice to know that we needed to bring your own shampoo (instead of enjoying Split, I had to run around to find a place open late night to buy a shampoo). Also it would be nice to know in advance that you are not accepting visa cards and that the payment needs to be done in cash. Not the cleanest. Was somebody's actual apartment. Beds were old and not comfortable. - The walls are paper thin - we were woken up by the alarm of the neighbour upstairs (not even the sound, but the vibration!). - The street of our apartment was rather noisy - The mattress was VERY uncomfortable. the staff seems not willing to help us for soloving the problems. She was just hurry for doing her work. Warning: This company sublets other appartments in the oldtown. Your appartment may not correspond to the location/photos on the internet. Parking: You have to park in the streets around the oldtown. It's free, but people park anywhere along the road, so you do not know whether it is accepted as "parking" or not...(10 min walk). We have booked 2 rooms from Sept. 26-27, 2013. However, the rooms are located in other building. The room style is also very different with the pictures in the website of "letsbookhotel.com". Expensive.
