these newly built rooms located in a historic old apartment in the middle of split old town is ideal for these who want to be in the center of the city, we stayed in king size bedroom, it all looks relaxed and nice, the room is on the 3rd floor , the owner was helpful & carried one of the luggage upstairs the hotel has snacks all day! fruits and local traditional pastries as well as croissants and sweets, just to snack on when your hungry. the room did not come with breakfast however they.
all reviews » The service was brilliant. We were upgraded when we arrived as we arrived before checkin and our room was being cleaned. Then I was feeling ill from our catamaran journey and we were given coffee and some food to help settle my stomach. The room was super modern and had no complaints. The tv Ben had several channels in English. The location was brilliant as its right next to the diocletians palace area but on the main shopping street which made it easy to find and easy to close to the main sit. The "rooms " are situated in an old building in a great location very close to the old palace. Our reception was very friendly, there was lots of information on the city and tourist maps available. The room was clean, reasonably seized and newly decorated. Fresh fruit and small nibbles were available in the main hall way. A light breakfast is available which you eat in your room. This accommodation is best suited for short stays. I would have no hesitation in staying here again. Centrally located, surrounded by restaurants and bars, the luxury apartments are the perfect choice if you're in Split for a night or two. The staff are exceptional - very friendly and helpful, willing to give you advice on Split: bars; shopping; transport etc. There is always an abundance of fresh fruit and Croatian delicacies on hand should you feel a little hungry. The rooms are beautifully designed, modern and very clean. Great stay, highly recommended!. The location is amazing, on one of the main streets, Marmontova. Very friendly couple that runs it and serves you breakfast of your choice of cafe and pastries and fruit in the morning. We stayed on the second floor suite where we had a private bathroom that was down a short corridor from our room. Although there was another room on the floor, they had an ensuite so we never saw them. Clean & modern decor. Great value and location. Friendly owners. The room was incredibly clean on arrival and was a great size, even though we picked one of the smaller rooms. The location was fantastic - just a stone's throw from Split's main attractions. The staff are also really friendly and happy to help with information on Split (maps, restaurant recommendations etc) and also onward travel (airport transfers, public transport etc). We really enjoyed our short stay. First, the extremely friendly and helpful owner Nixi (sorry about spelling).. Over and above any expectations. Free parking, fee wifi, beautiful view over harbour, local shops and restaurants, but most of all close to Dubrovnik old city. We used bus which is always very crowded, but for the price the apartment costs you can afford a taxi in and out of the city each day. Loved it. The staff were absolutely wonderful, I cannot recommend this place enough. I stayed here with my friend for 3 nights and am so glad we booked Marmontova for our stay in Split. The rooms was really nice staff are really friendly situated in the heart of the city which is perfect, I had a great stay here PERFECT :). the rooms are small, we had no space for two luggage's, we ordered the standard room. the room wasn't sound proof and could hear everyone going and coming out the room in the morning . I would have preferred a harder mattress, but all the positives far outweighed this. It's an apartment, not a hotel, so they don't change your towels or clean your room. This was fine for us. They did provide us with separate beach towels upon request. The garbage cans in the room & washroom could have been bigger. It didn't bother us but note that the apartments are up three flights of stairs and there is no elevator. We didn't mind but the apartment is a bit old Ikea - not at all luxury. Good hot water in bathroom (shower, bath, washbasin and bidet) but not connected to sink in kitchen. But it has everything you need and what can you expect for this price so close to the city yet in such a relaxing and beautiful environment. Entrance when u arrive is very old and a communal area which left you wondering about the "luxury" sign in the hall. Very dark and not gd lighting in this area. But this is minor. Room made up for this. Lugging luggages up 4 flight of stairs without elevators. Owner Adriano was kind to help us carry though. Although near to ferry and bus station, it is at least a 15 minutes walk across the whole Riva. The breakfast was very basic. No lift so I had to carry a large suitcase up 3 floors but not too much of a problem. Need to use public parking,again not a major problem. A lot of stairs to get up with heavy suitcases & no lift. 6 flights of stairs. Just to warn you it is at the top of six fights of stairs and no elevator. If you need help or are traveling with a lot of luggage. Call ahead for help. I did not get my room cleaned and the trash cans are quite small. My trash kept piling up. But I did have a really bad head cold. N/A. Only negative we would've like a kettle in the room.. A flights of stairs to rooms no real issue but not accessible for all. Needed to be advised that the location was pedestrainised, hence parking elsewhere. 3 flights of stairs to carry luggage up. Hence need to have minimal luggae for the stay. it doesn't have an outside space but it's so close to the sea it makes no difference. Up 3 flights of stairs but staff will help with cases,. I just wanted to tell other travelers not to be discouraged by the appearance of the building because the rooms are great. Well worth the stairs climb. Nothing worth mentioning. The apartment needs a washing machine. It was a bit noisy with a busker playing outside but luckily his music was ok and he didn't play too late !. House still being renovated. Location of breakfast was a little strange being in a corridor. But these are small issues. We were disappointed that there was no view from our window (we had a wall). From the internet pictures it looked like all the rooms had balconies... Very small room, lots of stairs, no parking. Room a bit on the small side. The stairs - we are old:). No elevator. For the price, I expected a little bit more of the room, witch was a little bit small. For me, the problem was that they put some kind of odor stop or something (like bom air), witch smells good, but it was really strong smell for me, and during the night I had to sleep with the window opened and the street there is really noisy.... But that's my only complaint. The room, including ensuite, was less than 13sq.m.!!!! Discustingly small and over priced for what was advertised as "luxury rooms". The photos don't correspond to the reality, apartment is very small. 10:30 check out seemed early but we had been out the night before!!!. Nothing.
