Location of hotel is ideal..short walk into city center, yet away from the crowds. Beach is across the street. Hotel is nicely maintained-rooms are a bit stark. But, staff was wonderful and the hotel offers a very comfortable atmosphere with nice dining area and very pretty setting. The roomwasverycomfortable and had all you could want of even a luxury hotel Some might find the room small but what do you need space for other than to sleep? restaurant not as good as advertised but still OK.
all reviews » Whenever my wife and I go to Split we always stay at Hotel Park. The luxurious setting, the professional and obliging staff and the quality of the rooms makes us return there time after time. Location was great, 10 minutes walk to Palace but quiet and near beach, tucked between parks and residences. Terrace is great. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I liked the location, very close to the beach and 15 minute walk to Diocletian Palace. The restaurant's food and service was excellent. The beautiful view, the location - near the sea and the city. The location was so clise to rhw beach and center of Split. Gorgeous terrace and near proximity to centre of town. Location, varanda and proximity To the beach. Facilities, comfortable rooms, free Wifi. very friendly reception, good breakfast. Location is the best part of this hotel. Across the street from the beach, 15 minute walk to the Palace, situated in a quiet suburban-like setting. Parking for my car was key as well. Hotel is within walking distance of the old city. Very enjoyable outdoor setting for restaurant. The situation was perfect, the view stunning and the outside area beautiful. Nice breakfast area, indoor and outdoor. Was at work two days alone - and ended up in a single room - which was small but OK. Good breakfast. They serve you cover at the restaurant without asking and then charge. Not enough emphasis is placed on the quality of food from the A la Carte menu.. Rooms are a bit cramped, but everything is there. My room was a little small. The service at dinner, and the absolute lack of local winery knowledge. Breakfast. waiters at the outside terrace were unfriendly. The elevator was broken for at least 4 days in a row; the decor and furniture were in desperate need of updating - mattress uncomfortable, how about a flat-screen with more than a few channels?; wifi did not work in rooms - in this day and age everyone expects in-room wifi, even budget hotels can work this out. Rooms are a bit on the small size and could be updated. The Double rooms where very small for two people. The staff are not as friendly as the previous hotels/villages we visited. Very boring receptions staff - NOT OK!. Poor airconditons.
