Located perfectly for exploring the Old Town of Split this apartment was exactly what I was looking for. Clean, neat, all the facilities you need, i'd highly recommend staying here! Sonja met me down the street, helped me with my bags, gave me a map with some great suggestions on it, and was just so lovely and sweet. The bottle of wine was a lovely added touch! I would stay here again anytime. There are a lot of stairs up to the apartment so not great for anyone who isn't able to walk up and do. all reviews »
We had an amazing time! Sonja was truly the best host I ve ever encountered. She was so friendly; she took us around in town and pointed us out to a beautiful restaurant where she got us a table. Two days after we saw her by chance and she offered to pay for our drinks! The apartment is really nice. A typical old building.

Beautifully kept apartment that is a home from home. The view from the windows is possibly the envy of Split! Overlooking the harbour and out to sea and the islands.
The host Sonja is incredibly friendly and is so helpful. She organised taxis for us to the airport, and was always on the end of the phone for advice.
The apartment is also in a great location, close to beaches and the town and restaurants.

The moment we walked into the apartment we felt at home. The view of the sea was gorgeous from the big windows. It's in a perfect location, a quick walk to everything you want to see in Split. We were explained the town on a map and told about all the great food and things to see. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We will be recommending Apartment Dvornik to everyone!.
Great location 5 minute walk to centre of old town, some great restaurants/cafes near aswell. Sonja is a great host, gave us lots of good tips, you must go to the beach she suggests, one of the top beaches we have been to. The apartment is in a residential building which is great as you live amongst the locals, it has all the mod cons aswell. A great place to stay.
The apartment was clean and tidy. Beautiful seaview from the window. Great location. Sonja and her mum are very nice and helpful. They helped us in everyway. The apartment was absolutely beautiful. The owner, Sonja, came to pick us up from the bus station and gave us a brief walking tour in the city giving some good tips. In the room, there was a wine bottle waiting for us - wonderful! The seaview from the studio is astonishing and so is the quiet yet central location.
Sonja the apartment owner is such a lovely lady, she couldnt do enough to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable in her apartment. She even took us on a small tour and showed us where the good places to eat and drink are. The apartment is spotless and has a nice shower.

The hot water run out in the morning so I had a nice shower and my boyfriend had to have a cold one! haha.
My wife counted 62 steps from the entrance of the building to the entrance of the apartment but the climb is well worth the effort as the view from the window over Split is stunning.
The appartment was on a top floor so I wouldnt recommend to elderly travellers who may struggle with stairs.
Thin walls to next door, slight disadvantage, but not a major issue.
