Fully renovated in 2016, Vila Marija is a small family-run guest house in the old town of Skradin, at the entrance to the Krka National Park in central Dalmatia, offering you nice rooms and tasty cuisine. Apart from fully en-suite rooms, the Vila Marija features a restaurant serving tasty meat and fish dishes, as well as a cafe offering free WiFi access. Open all year round, this is a perfect base for visiting the Krka waterfalls National Park, for rowing, canoeing or kayaking on the Krka river or just for exploring the wonderful countryside. Weddings at the Krka waterfalls or on the small island of Visovac with a beautiful Franciscan monastery can be organized by the Vila Marija. Private boat rides or taxi services are offered as well. Close to the Vila Marija you can take part in painting and sculpturing workshops. Skradin is easily accessible by land and by sea, featuring its own highway exit and an ACI marina.

Personnel of this hotel was excellent!! They are genuinely sunny people, eager to help if you have something on your mind - they really made us feel important. Thank you for that. :) This was the cheapest hotel that we stayed in, and maybe it shows on the style, it's a bit out of fashion but we didn't mind. Room was clean and you have A/C and shower works just fine so it has everything you need. The location of the hotel was good, we really liked Skradin and the NP of Krka. It's little but live.

The historic city of Skradin boasts 2 medieval churches, fortresses and many monuments and archaeological sites. In spring you can enjoy wonderful walks in the Krka National Park with its 7 waterfalls, of which the Skradinski Buk is the largest and most popular. During summer there are many cultural and entertainment events such as "Klapas", concerts, puppet shows and theatre performances.
