Renovated in 2013 at a central location on the Korzo promenade, Hostel Rijeka offers air-conditioned rooms and dormitories equipped with lockers and free Wi-Fi. There is a grocery shop on site and many bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The hostel has a shared kitchen area equipped with a toaster, fridge, microwave and kitchenware. Public buses stop just 50 metres away and provide connections to other parts of town, while the Main Bus Station is only 300 metres away. The ferry port is 350 metres from the Rijeka Hostel.

Very kind personnel, even helped me with my heavy suitcase for 3 floors :) Very clean and tidy, with more than enough bathrooms, fully equipped. This was my first hostel and I was very pleasantly surprised. Location - you cant ask for better - for a traveller, everything is so close and you are in the pedestrian central city street. I highly recommend them. We found Hostel Rijeka spotless and the staff very friendly. If you're passing through Rijeka you'll find it centrally located near the harbor, the bus station and the train station. There are fast food possibilities everywhere, and the staff can recommend an excellent restaurant on the harbor.

The airconditioning in the room could be modified via a remote control to a decired temperature, which was great!. - shops are all downstairs, super convenient - friendly and cooperative staff, flooding in my room but they fix it immediately!!! - newly renovated room, with great WIFI connection - value for money!. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Amazingly clean and well located in the city. About 5 minutes walk from the main bus station, and everything you need is around the hostel. This is definitely a hostel, so facilities are minimal. It's also up several long flights of stairs, so be prepared! On the other hand, the man working at the desk when we checked out was kind enough to carry our bags down for us. Located above a noicy street. Also the rooms are in 5th floor without an elevator, prepare to walk few stairs. - not close to main bus station and far away from train station, but it's not the hostel's problem, just the town planning of Rijeka itself - no lift, i carried 30kg luggage and climbed so many stairs to the hostel, nearly died. Except for the 4 stories climb, there`s nothing to complain about. c'etait tout tout simplement parfait!. Small city and city center. Lots of stairs. No evelator. Guests (and even some of the staff!) smoking in the kitchen/community room while others are eating there. Kitchen is misses a little stove. smoking in the kitchen. No. - No lift.
