The location is splendid, perfect base for hiking in the Risnjak national park. Jagoda and Robert are the most wonderful hosts. Food is excellent, Jagoda's baking superb. Room was on the small side but very comfortable, bathroom top quality.

Our room (Deluxe double with sea view) was very spacious, brand new and immaculately clean. Calling it a sea view is a stretch but we were very comfortable and the staff were friendly. We would stay here again.

Wonderful unique hotel which made us feel totally at home. We changed hotel after we spent two nights in an awful resort and were lucky enough to get a room in the Grand Hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly, the food was lovely and our room with a balcony felt like a small apartment rather than a room.
