We decided to head to Mljet a day earlier than planned and had a accommodation booked in the north of the island in the national park, but decided to stay somewhere different for the beforehand. Marin and his family have done a wonderful job with the place, a tidy little village on the west coast of the island between Sobra and Polace, the beach is great the harbour very pretty and the accommodation clean and comfortable. The host, Nike was a great character and made us feel very welcome. He came to pick us up from the ferry port upon arrival which was an unexpected, but pleasant surprise and also helped us by offering us lifts to and from the ferry port throughout our stay which was very helpful.
