Very clean, all looked new and in excellent condition. Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen outside on large terrace/balcony with plenty of seating and a lovely view of the sea across to Hvar. A nice touch was the provision of salt and pepper, sugar, vinegar and their own olive oil. The owners met us off the catamaran and after a short walk drove us to the apartment which is well situated on the hill within easy walk of the town centre and the beach. This is a great villa. It is clean, modern and very well maintained and the owners are really friendly and helpful. It is in a great location that is within easy walking distance to Splitska, a pretty fishing village with a small selection of restaurants and a mini supermarket. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lipa. The facilities were excellent, rooms very spacious and smart with lovely views onto the bay. The pool was good and the food very nice. The staff, in particular, were excellent. They spoke perfect English and did everything they could to make sure we had a lovely stay and to deal with any problems if we had them.

The reception staff member susana was amazing, her customer service was outstanding and we have stayed at many places around Croatia and she would have to be the best so far. Location was fantastic, right at the golden horn beach (zlatni rat). Food was nice at the restaurant. Zlatni Rat overall is excellent and yet so close to Split, it had many facilities close to the beach and cocktail bars and snack bars metres away. Great if you have kids, heaps of water sports and water jumpy castles.
