We really enjoyed our 3 days stay in Villa Feniks and would definitely recommend it without any doubt. The Villa is nicely located 100 mt from a small bay with well serviced beach and marina. It is an exellent base for daily excursions.The service is top class, with attention to details and personal service. The owners made we feel like at home and gave valuable advices to fine-tune our excursions plans and helped us when we needed to arrange an urgent bike repair.A very personal service, but.
all reviews » The best holiday place we stayed so far. The place is run by most friendly and kind people. Thanks to them you don't want to leave. There are also some other reasons like close proximity to the nice beach, marina, 3 good restaurants (the best is the one in the marina - recommended by the owners of the hotel), and a small pool - perfect for kids (100cm deep). And finally breakfast - it is worth its additional cost - the best we ate during the trip around Slovenia and Croatia. Thanks to the last . The reception at Villa Feniks was very warm with free welcoming drinks. The owners do everything they can to feel you and the other gasts welcome. They give you tips about what you can do, where you can eat,.. They are also willing to arange things for you like booking a trip or reserve a taxi. The evenings in villa feniks are very pleasant because you can talk to the other guests by a nice glass of wine and with some live music. The villa is close to the marina, the waterside, bars, restaurant. The host Dragan is one of the nicest humans: he takes care of organizing a part of the time of your life on vacation in Croatia. On occasions, there's a little surprise in the evenings, which is worthwhile to take the time out for. The beach at Pjescana Uvala, a little area close to Pula where the villa is located, is great and has a tiny comfortable beach. During our stay their generosity was something we have not experienced anywhere else, with welcoming drinks, delicious food and entertainment. This was a great familyrun hostel, it could host up to 16 guests, the breakfast was great, and the hosts very attentive. the distance to pula isn't that much of a issue as there are plenty other great sights to be seen in the area. The interior is superclean and breaths relaxation and luxe! Very close to the beach, and some good restaurants are near. I would return here without hesitation!. You have to ask clearly if you want one, but in the end the breakfast is very nice but a bit expensive in comparison with the roomprice. The location isn't ideal if you are visiting Pula, unless you have a car. The room was nice but rather small, the bathroom was maybe too small (but we had an economy room so price-quality was okay). Time seemed to move alot faster as we where enjoying ourselfs. The accommodation's swimming pool is very small. The venue - need a car to visit Pula etc as we hasn't see any bus services. Limited restaurants in this local. Nothing. Nothing . It was too far out of town and there was only one restaurant open in the area. It was at the end of the "season". There was also no bus service to the town center. Nothing. Luxury appartement: We would appreciate a second bathroom. Nothing; all was above average. small rooms. Parking place. Small bathroom. In a nice area but a bit from center of town (1 hour walk at least).Not the cleanest place but not terrible. No decent restaurant close by. Poor transport options. Pebble beach only, though this is generally the case. Disaster with our booking. We were forced to leave after one night as they had overbooked the hotel. Gave us names of other hotels but they were very slow to make calls on our behalf, totally unacceptable behaviour as we had no warning. we did not let this debacle upset us and enjoyed the next few days touring Istria, which was really lovely.
