Camping Lanterna is located on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula near the picturesque historical town Novigrad and the most important tourist centre Porec.

This is one of the best large campsites in Croatia and quite recently was awarded the Europe Prize 2007 by the German Camping Club (DCC). Located amid pure nature, with its pine and oak woods and the 3 kilometre long pebble beach, Camping Lanterna offers all conveniences for an outstanding holiday.

Payment is made at the hotel reception in HRK or in EUR based on the current exchange rate on the day of payment. Please note that your credit card will be charged in HRK (Croatian currency). Your bank hereinafter converts this amount to the currency of your domestic account. Due to your bank's exchange rate this may result in a slightly different (higher) total charge than the amount stated in HRK on the invoice. Rent includes: stay for up to 6 people (5th and 6th person for free), electricity, water and gas.

Information about the area

Poreč is a town of true hospitality and a rich tourist tradition. It is located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula and abounds clean sea and beautiful beaches.

A stroll down the centuries-old streets leads to the square Marafor, where in ancient times a forum was located. The central Poreč street, Decumanus, has been preserved from the time when Poreč was an ancient port. Along with the museums and galleries located in beautiful town palaces, you must visit the Euphrasian Basilica. A glittering mosaic which covers the inside and facade of the church is one of the most beautiful preserved works of Byzantine art.
