Super clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. The owner picked me up from/dropped me to the entrance whenever possible (Though located in a quiet residential area only 5 minutes drive from Entrance 2, still quite a hike without own vehicle). Breakfast is 6 euro extra, if I heard correctly. Did not have it, but it looked good. Highly recommended. Is a beautiful house with flowers, in a quiet place. The hosts was very friendly and carefully with us. A good place to stay and visit National Park Plitvice. We recommend House Kajfes.
all reviews » the place is quiet and nice, very clean and renovated. kind a far from tge park if you dont have a car but they pick you up if you need and take you back to the bus stop if neccesary. the lady of the house kindly droped and collected me from the park because i had no car and her husband brought me to the bus stop the next day. very nice people and clean house. The perfect solution if you want to visit Plitvice park and to spend some time in a natural environment. The breakfast is really rich and good. The owner extremly kind. Nice stay. The room was not very big but it was comfortable. Very clean. Very good location for Plitvice. breakfast was not included but it was worth it. Friendly owners offered to take us to the park entrance, comfortable room. The room was clean, the area was silent with a very beautiful view from the lodge. I can strongly recommend this for mountain hikers. Also, the host welcomed us with hospitality despite the language barriers. I arrived a sunday and nothing was open for getting food and they dont provide either, so basically I didnt eat in two days. I think thy shouod provide at least with breakfast. There are not many restaurants around it. It's best to have a car available. Arriving by bus is possible, but it's a 1,5 km walk along a busy road. Nothing. But if you want you walk to the lake, you should be really careful because there is no walking path and just road for cars. The rooms are a bit small. English was a problem for the hosts therefore there wasn't too much one could ask about the area and Plitvice Lakes. nothing. None. their was no air conditioning and it was hot. Small room. A bit far from plitvice lakes park entrance, when owner was busy and no taxi was available we had to walk 45 mins to get to the park.... No restaurants or shops nearby. The staff did not speak a good English and, therefore, it was rather difficult to keep communication on the phone when trying to find the location. Internet wireless connection was not available in our room due to poor signal.
