Buzolic was absolutely fantastic! This is a real family run place and you get a real sense of being cared for (without being intrusive in any way). We were collected from the bus station and told all the important information about the area. The apartment was lovely, with everything you would need and fabulous views of the pakleni islands (however we just used as a base really). We found everybody so friendly (we were brought pancakes!! And a bottle of wine from the neighbours as ours dropped o.
all reviews » We were greeted at the bus station by owners who gave us a lift to the apartment (free of charge) it wasn't a long distance to walk but the gesture was lovely as we'd just spent 8 hours on a ferry. The apartment was a short distance to the harbour with restaurants and night life. The apartment was well equipped and was perfect for us as all we wanted was a 'base'. We weren't planning on spending time in the apartments. The owners gave us a bottle of their home made wine which was lovely, I'm no. The welcome was lovely, as seems to be the custom in Croatia. The apartment was nicely situated, about 10 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the town. There's a nice beach about 5 minutes away. The room was excellent, nicely fitted, plenty of space and the kitchen had cutlery and things like olive oil to help you along. Air conditioned room helped as well. All in all, a great value room that could charge double the price it does. Very accommodating and friendly owners - they gave us a bottle of home-made wine to welcome us and brought our luggage down to the centre of town on the way back at the end of our stay. Beautiful views from the terrace, will miss watching the sun set over the sea. Apartment had good facilities, and was very close to a local supermarket. Only ten minutes walk from a secluded beach. I was there with 3 friends it was very nice, the owner give us a bottle of wine when we arrived and was very pleased to help in everything we needed. It was clean, quiet place, 10 min walking to centre, we had an individual kitchen well equipped and the wi-if worked well. It was a very Good choice. The owners were very nice, they let us stay longer than expected without any problem. They can pick you up and drop off at the ferry station or bus station. It was very clean and tidy. Great little place. Very welcoming and helpful owner who met us at the bus station and even dropped off our bags on the last day so we could spend the day at the beach. Lovely little patio and kitchen area. Sea wiew terrace, air conditioned nice room, fast wifi. A liitle bit on the hill... Hvar center 10 minutes by walking, nearby there is a very nice seaside but the pathway is up and down and rocky one... Owners of apartments are very nice. I advise everyone to stay in these aparament: couples, families with children and large groups. Mary, thank you for your hospitality and a wonderful New Year 2013. Halfway between town and beach, family who own were so helpful, even doing our laundry and picking us up from the bus station. Had such an amazing time in Hvar, and the apartment felt like home!. Pick up and drop off at the local bus station was very much appreciated. Felt welcomed throughout the stay and enjoyed the complimentary homemade wine and playing with little Poppy the dog!. Owners were extremely nice and helpful. The room was quiet and cozy and there is a supermarket near by. Location is good, 10-15 minutes walk from city center, very peaceful neighborhood. Very very guest friendly, just 5-10min walk to the city center, great equipped kitchen, own terrace. Owners are exceptionally helpful and friendly and the apartment is lovely. Lovely view and balcony. location walking distance to town. Close to both beaches and harbour. Put off by very basic facilities initially and very old decor but good location friendly owner and nice outside terrace made it a pleasant stay. Great location. The offered us a bottle of their own white wine. owner of house is calm and kind. This is basic accommodation, but there is nothing we didn't like! We wanted a base so Buzolic was perfect. Nothing. It's a 15 minute walk from the center ( not really far) but to come back it is really uphill. Wifi was spotty at the end of our stay, was fine for the first three days though. Loved everything else though!. Well, the beds were a little bit too soft for me. But it is a matter of taste. tv wasn't working, sleeping room very basically equipped. Very old fixtures and broken bathroom shelf and temperamental toilet seat. Hole in bathroom wall which I guess functioned as vent but let in insects and could hear next door. Although we informed the owner about the lack of internet access, she didn't do something to fix it. Despite the opposite opinion of the owner there were plenty of mosquitos!. location of house is not good enough.
