The building is located just a few hundred metres from the old town walls and is set on a beautiful hillside location with a great with over the sea and the old town itself. Getting to the building is easy; even if you don't like climbing stairs, there are not so many to get to the building. There is a bus stop just at the bottom of the stairs (for arriving buses) and there is a direct connection to the bus station. all reviews » The owners of the apartment were incredibly friendly and greeted us with a drink and information on Dubrovnik. The apartment was incredibly clean and smelt wonderful. The interior was lovely, bed was comfy and everything worked. The location couldn't have been better- close to the city walls but far enough and off the road so there was little noise. The view of the sea view was through a sky light but it was low down so you could clearly see out and the view was amazing. Our flight back was als. The location was perfect, a couple minutes walk from the old city. A market, swimming areas and park are few minutes walk. There is a tiny kitchen suitable for tea and snacks with a fridge the wifi was best reception I had in all Croatia. Our host was cheerful and helpful. We were let in quite early and he kept our packs for us on our last day. I would recommend this spot as it is very good value. The house and gardens are very well kept and attractive. Noting much to say. It was just PERFECT. Full Air-Conditionoing, refrigerator, kitchen, bed, it was just perfect. Room was neat and clean. Host was very kind. Location was even more perfect. 5~7 minutes to Old town, 2 minitues to airport bus stop, 2 minutes to cable car. 1 minute to ATM and supermarket. Just select this accomodation! You won't regret it!. We live in the attic room, from the window can see the city wall and quite nice when the lights are on at night. It's close to the city and everything is nice and clean. The landlord is very considerate even prepare bottle water in the fridge, the only time among all our travel in Croatia. Loved it!. The rooms were clean and the furniture comfortable. It is a bit of a walk from the center of the city, but certainly a sweet location for the price. Do not expect much from the sea view (I don't know about the other sea view apartment [since there are two altogether]) since we only had one small window facing the sea on an angled wall/ceiling and we couldn't see much through it. Also, beware of flooding when showering in the bathtub (no shower curtains) and tall people will have to be careful not to hit their heads on the ceiling. The only problem was the bathroom as there wasn't enough room to stand up for a shower- even for a 5.2 ft person like me. Having said this, it didn't bother us at all as it was a shower over a bath so it was possible to just sit in the bath and use the shower head. Plus, the shower was so clean and the room was bright, which is much more important to us. Because it is an attic it could be hot in summer I think and the kitchen could use a kettle and few more dishes. Little bit expensive but it was reasonable price to pay. All was positive, I definitely recommend it. The only thing was that our "sea view" was out a skylight that you had to stick your head into for viewing. There were two separate beds without a possibility to move them together. It's not really a disadvantage, but I think if there were a possibility to make from two beds one, that would be just perfect apartment without something to improve. Owner was not automatically provide information around, not easy to find him when you need help . Just a small problem but the shower could be upright rather than hand held!. Nothing negative. furnishings are dated and shower was difficult to use. No free parking close to apartment however costly public parking available near by. some details were not curated. for example plastic toilet cover, double bed instead of king size bed. Thin walls.
