I had the studio apartment which was the middle apartment on the top floor. Lovely south/southeast-facing balcony which meant I could sit in the sun all day till 4pmish, before the sun went to the side of house. The owners of the apartment have a lovely table+chairs for each apt plus they put a sunlounger out for me too - they were so nice! Very accommodating and available for questions and anything else I needed. The WiFi was useful too - not sure how 'busy' it would be - I was the only one .
all reviews » Very comfortable, quiet and well located apartments. A taxi station and a small supermarket were just near. The seaside is 15min walk and the old town of Dubrovnik is 25min walk and 5min drive, exactly as it's written in the description. Dragan and his mother are very friendly, caring and very helpful. We definitely recommend this property. Response to Tom (August 13, 2013) : Instead of accusing Dragan that neighbours are noisy, you could told us directly. It's a lie to say that the walls are t. These apartments are wonderfully kept and well located for local activities. It's a great place if you have a rental car and want to be able to explore a bit of Dubrovnik in addition to just the old town. (We spent a lot of time in Lapad Bay where the restaurants are great and affordable.) The staff at Green Park are amazing too. The apartments are run by Dragan and his mother, both of whom are lovely people. Dragan even went out of his way to help me get a tire repaired. We drove around to th. Excellent value. The owners are terrific and couldn't have been nicer. The location is a 25 minute walk from both the old town in one direction and the main bus terminal and new port in the other. The room was spotless, quiet and offered a lovely view of a valley from the balcony. I would gladly stay here again and give it my wholehearted endorsement. One tip - do not use google map directions to get to the hotel! You will find yourself walking in circles until a kindly local points you in the. The owner, Dragan, was very helpful and informative, collecting us from the airport and giving us very useful tips about where to go and at what time. On the last day we were able to leave our bags in his home and his mother made us very welcome in her home. The apartment was newly refurbished and very clean. Location was not right in the center but was very accessible by public transport. The hosts were fantastic - friendly, helpful and even did all of our washing (there was a lot!). The owners were fantastic and most helpful. They will even do a load of washing for you. The balcony and free parking. No complaints with apts. Destination-wise: got bitten a few times - not by mosquitoes though - some other sort of fly I hadn't seen before. And this was during the day too. Maybe take some preventative measures (Vitamin B?! etc before going to Croatia!). Didn't see any cockroaches/or other nasties thankfully. Nothing. The 25 minute walk to the old town is not good for people with walking difficulties but it is pleasant. This is a quiet area but there are a couple of places to eat within a 5 minute walk. It's a bit of a walk to Dubrovnik Old Town in the heat, would suggest taking the bus in and walking back in the evening when it's cooler. Old town is about 2km away and although the bus stop is very close, it can become a little painful with 2 small children. Other than that it was perfect. The walls were super thin so sleeping was tough with noisy people neighbours. The place is also not very close to the old town and there are not many facilities around.
