The apartment was very nice. It had a bedroom, bath, nice kitchen and dining room. There was a spiral staircase in the apartment that went up to a loft where a couple of kids could sleep. The bedroom was quite large - it had a queen-sized bed, plus an extra twin-sized bed, and a futon for sitting, or extra sleeping. There was a small terrace off the bedroom that looked right over the city walls (within a few feet), and the sea and island beyond. There was a large terrace off of the dining .
all reviews » The Apartment was in the Old Town. It was clean and well maintained. Particularly liked the fact that it retained a lot of the original features such as stone oven and sewing machine in the house (it was quite an old house but very well maintained). Shower was good, good water pressure and hot water. The owner was very friendly, met us at the town centre and showed us the way. Great hospitality from the Landlady. She was helpful and very service minded. The flat was clean and had two bedrooms with large and comfortable beds. Dubrovnik is a magnificent city and with such hospitality, our stay in Dubrovnic became a very memorable event. Very nice host who has been very helpful (booked our bus tickets) Excellent location inside the old city and closed to the sea. Very big room including a private kitchen and access to a shared terrace. Very good deal in Dubrovnik. The location was excellent (once we found it), but we had some trouble when we first arrived getting in touch with the owner. The neighboring restaurant helped us to call her. Cheap. located in old city 'flat' and quiet area. Kind staff. There is not much negative to say. I will mention that there are three flights of stairs. All of the stairs looked quite new and beautiful, but two of them are narrow and have a turn. So if you are carrying large suitcases or have problems with stairs then you will need to be careful. Also the lock on the door to the apartment was quite antiquated and we could not get it to work - there is some trick to how to hold the key. We left it unlocked after the first day (I know, not a good idea). Tiny complain there wasn't a single bin in the house. Difficult to find for travellers new to Dubrovnik. Must carry suitcases up 3-4 narrow stairways for access. Would have loved a washing machine. Shower holder was broken so had to hold shower hose the whole time. No hairdryer but host provided one when requested. Need more clothespins for line.A little worn around edges but overall very nice and good location. Otherwise. Not too much really, the owner was lovely, the only thing would be the location is a little bit hard to find, but that is the case with most apartments located in a Old town of a city. It's a little bit difficult to find. Nothing. The absence of tools for cooking (tin-opener etc). We had minor difficulties to find the door to the apartment. Nothing. air conditioning was only in the sitting room so hot at night. towels were old and scratchy. It was slightly cramped, and the apartment overall was not very recently updated or maintained ...nonetheless the owner was very attentive. I think there are 2 or 3 apartments in this house. For rooftop one where I stayed, it was far different from the snapshots provided on the website. It was two-story type and quite small for 3 people. The bathroom was small and designed ridiculously, so hard to use it. No openable windows and ventilator's needed.
