Located at the beach and close to a pine forest, the 4-star Spongiola is the only hotel on the car-free Krapanj Island. It offers spa facilities and free boat transfer. The island can only be reached by boats from the mainland close to Brodarica, which is 400 metres away. Cars can be parked at a guarded parking lot on the mainland. Hotel Spongiola's air-conditioned rooms have free internet access and feature satellite TV and a minibar. The à la carte restaurant serves authentic dishes and you can enjoy your favourite beverage at the bar. The hotel features an indoor swimming pool, a fitness studio and a wellness centre as well as an infrared sauna. Free sunshades and chairs are provided. The Spongiola provides state-of-the-art diving equipment. Besides diving, you can try out windsurfing, kayaking and water skiing. Excursions to Kornati, Krka, Paklenica and Plitvice Lakes National Parks can be organised.

Very nice location on the shoreline of the Island. Good connections to mainland with the hotels own boat. Idyllic Island Life. Friendly staff. Spacious room & bathroom. Restaurant menu. Silent neighbourhood - graveyard :). Room furniture shows signs of wear&tear. Old CRT TV with poor (jerky) reception. Island on which hotel is located is really small (0.4 sq. km) which isn't neccesserally a bad thing - but there's pretty much nothing interesting on the island an it isn't much to look at. Beach is in front of the hotel but it's really small and, since it's the only one on the island, it gets crowded.

Hotel Spongiola is situated on the small island of Krapanj and is only 400 m away from mainland. There is no vehicle traffic on the island.
- Arrival at the dock in front of the “Zlatna Ribica” restaurant or at the dock Krapanj, 150 m away. There is a ferry line from the dock Krapanj.
- Cars can be parked at the guarded parking-lot 3km away from “Zlatna Ribica” restaurant.
