Since I am a muslim, my wife and I find this inn VERY convenient as the location is strategic. It is in the Xian city wall, nearby muslim quarters and a mosque to. Taxi is just a few steps away. The hotel arranged for our tour to terra cotta, efficient staff. We enjoyed the area nearby the inn as we could experience the lifestyle of the Chinese muslims. Extremely helpful English speaking woman at the front desk, close to the gorgeous food/souvieour street stall area and tourist attractions like the Bell tower. Also close to modern shopping area and the huge night market lane way. Largish rooms with good bathrooms and lovely courtyard area.
Really central, the airport bus starts and stops at the end of the
street. The railway station is not far away from where all busses to
sightseeing spots depart. Really friendly staff (but no english), were
helpful finding restaurants and sightseeing spots.
The location was great as it is right in the Muslim Quarter and near
Bell and Drum towers and mrt. Food also easily available. Not luxurious
but good enough for the price paid. Understand that it will be
renovated soon.
Location and price are the strong points for this hotel. You can walk to most of the places around Drum and Bell Towers with ease. Good restaurants and shops are around there, especially if you like Muslim food.
The inn is quaint, down an alley in a small central courtyard. I loved
being in the middle of the muslim district with tons of food stalls and
shops. The staff were very helpful in making sure I was comfortable.

The location and the staff are the strong point of this hotel. The tourist attraction places, such as Bell Tower and Drum Tower are in a walking distance. The famous Muslim street is located right in front of the hotel.
I really like the local style. People who only appreciate 5 star hotels should not go here....but when you are in China to experience China: Go here!

We like its Chinese character and its location being on the Muslin street, inbetween the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower. Our room is of good size and the bed was comfortable.

Bed was very hard but that was the norm in China.

No elevator and narrow stairs will give you a challenge when your room is on 4th floor. Although the location is clear on the map, the taxi drivers do not know how to get to the hotel. Recommend to come from the North side of town since the taxi can park in front of the hotel.
There was no cafe where I could go for a cup of coffee in the morning.
It wa difficult to find, even for the taxi driver. It is literally a hole-in-the-
wall, but quaint and charming.
Wi-fi was intermittent/very slow and didn't work in the bedroom.
Can't complain about anything as you also have to take the price into account.

There is no elevator at this hotel. My room is up on the fifth floor, have to walk up and down along the narrow stair. It's rather dark at night, not enough lighting on the stair and walk way to the room.
Not all taxi drivers know how to get there. Just make sure you have a printed version of the address preferably with a printed map.
However, unfortunately it smelled damp. There was a damp patch on the ceiling. There might be a leakage from upstairs. Also the light was very dim (room 109). Apart from that, we are happy with it.
Noisy, Hard beds, but these are all over china. No english speaking staff and hard to locate as a taxi can't drive down food street at night.

No breakfast. Little shower pressure and ridiculously small towels. Just basic.
Cleanliness, the en suite bathroom needed a good floor tile scrub.
The bedroom wasn't clean enough. The towels in the bathroom were dirty and they never changed them. Wifi wasn't working when we stayed. Staff didn't have a good English.
hosts did not speak any english at all so it was very difficult to ask for travel advice etc.
