Being a relatively new hotel it is all very well presented and clean. Staff are polite and quite friendly, but you may have difficulty being understood in English. Excellent location if you want easy access to the airport. If you have an Executive room, the lounge is comfortable and good snacks, drinks etc. Breakfast in the hotel offers a good choice of Chinese and Western foods. Bathroom amenities of high quality. Bed is comfortable and nice bed linens etc.
all reviews » I was in the wrong airport needed wifi they offered that free and brought me a drink i looked online and booked last available single room however it was gone by the time they received my reservation so i got a free upgrade at already top price for the room. It was raining heavily and so was a nice evening and morning stay... Great location if arriving in Shanghai late and leaving early next morning. Very friendly and helpful staff, with excellent English. Very nice rooms with super comfy beds. Very quiet rooms despite being at a busy airport. Loved it. Well done!. The location is good, convenient public transport. And the room is clean, big and secure, and actually it is quiet too. Also customers can enjoy one free shot of drink in the hotel's bar , which I thought is nice. Very central to local Flights the Metro and the high speed trains. The hotel is right next to all of them. The rooms are neat and clean and comfortable and the view over the landing strip is great. It was very clean. Room is small but everything you need from hotel is there. Hotel is new. Service was good. It is located in the airport so all the transportation you need to the city was there. Temperature control for bedrooms does not work properly - you could not cool the bedroom below 27 degrees and this felt very stuffy, and most public areas also kept very warm. If there must be some advices,I hope the hotel can set up free wifi in Lobby too, for when I waiting in the lobby to check in, it's really boring. The breakfast was not great and 15 min before the breakfast ends they are clearing away the food which is a bit annoying. Hotel staff didn't speak English very well. They need to improve that. And also when I checked in there was no water until 5pm. This was frustrating because I have traveled long way and needed shower. Also check in and out process took sooooo long. I don't know if the staff don't how to do that or they had slow system. Working time of the gym is inconvenient, starting only at 10 a.m., which means that it can't be used if one has morning departure flight. Changed 3 times room when I was checking in....finally got nice room for me but too complicated... Booked through letsbookhotel.com a twin room, when we arrived they told me you booked a king size bed!, the guy took forever to accept to change us the room type (Till his manager came and intervened). when I checked out in the morning, there is only one staff work hard there and others just walking around and we have more than 6 people on the queue waiting for checking out.... and I had the plane to catch up and nearly late... rooms are small. The room was a bit tiny but comfortable none the less. Too many teething problems-E.G. Safety deposit box in room not working, credit card machines temperamental. Electrical power points in the room need maintenance. Bathroom water drains could be better. No Window is for this price and from security resons not acceptable. No window in the room... Wifi only in the lobby. average wifi. The information in hotel say the have spa, 24 hours. It was closed. Very bad internet speed and WiFi could only connect at one small area of the room. staff. I was in the hotel on 23rd night - the room was good size was ok. when I returned on the 27th to stay for 3 night the room was very small and I think for RB 450 it was a very poor value - I wanted a bigger room and was charged RMB 750 per night (room no 852) - RMB 750 I think was too much for the room. I will be going to Shanghai again on the 18th October for at least 2 nights - I would like to stay int eh same hotel but ??!!. turned off aircon in middle of night to save money, then only 26degC air came into room until it was unbearbale. Thankfully they changed me to a room with windows I could open as it was very cool outside. Also counter staff Liki Zhang studiously ignored my presence when I arrived to check in then rudely served a later arrival ahead of me. Why?. Rooms are noisy due to the airplane which take off. but room was not what I had expected to stay in. The hotel is located insite of the airport and very difficult to reach if you are not coming from Hong Qiao airport.Address mentioned on website is not known by taxi drivers if you do not know that it is inside of terminal 2. Quint everything considering Roms in flight desk, given that at Time of reservation I requirier a non Smoking room. Rooms without windows are unacceptable.
