Hotel was clean, comfortable and friendly in a lovely authentic Chinese street. Restaurant served good food and the gardens were tranquil. Hotel was a short taxi ride from the centre. 2 minute walk from the hotel was the local park which was peaceful, away from the noisy traffic. The Panda breeding centre was a 30 minute taxi ride and well worth a visit. location is phenomenal! wide-narrow alley (great food) and qing yang gong [taoist] temple only a 5 minute walk. great value for money.
