Right alongside a famous 'old-style' street with plenty of vendors. Walk to the subway is about 5 minutes, so easily accessible. Great central location. Receptionist very helpful & friendly! Great location!. Few nearby grocery-style stores. Odd smell in room for our first night. Didn't really notice it after that. Beware of con artists around tianamen square! Young girls pose as English students wanting to practise English they then take you to a tea house and the bill is very expensive 800yuan and we got away lucky! Do not let any locals take you to a tea house/bar/art gallery of their choice. This is a big trick!.
