The location was perfect for the event I was participating in. The finish of the Ironman was at most a 5 minute walk. The location was key in selecting the facility. The ability to cook for yourself was an added bonus with the room. The managing staff from Blackcomb Lodge who could not properly run any bank card that I had, requiring me to take time out of my schedule to withdraw a large sum of cash money. When I demanded that the ATM transaction fees be deducted from my bill, the staff had no issues refunding to my card. The staff member even suggested that maybe I had insufficient funds to cover the room. I was not pleased by this comment.
