Beautiful new hotel with comfortable, firm beds and high quality linens, amazing bathrooms with deep soaker tubs and fantastic amenities like telus tv, timed heating and cooling and a bar fridge and sink. The staff was great too! I couldn't ask for anything more!. The suite was really cleaned and well apportioned. The TV channels are the most extensive i've seen in any 3 to 4.5 star hotel. We were sad to leave this hotel after our one night stay. We will definitely be staying here wen next we are in Vernon.
all reviews » Kitchenette was new and clean, but the cookware was limited. No cutting board or cookie sheets. The room was spacious. Tv chanels were generous. The hotel guest laundry was great to have. The staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary coffee available in the lobby at any time - best coffee I have ever had in a hotel. Reception was absolutely the best: considerate, attentive, professional and really, really listened to our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed from check-in to check-out. Will definitely stay here again. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was a definite bonus. Quiet & friendly. (off-season?) Comfortable & clean rooms. Full size fridge/stove was an added bonus for myself & senior parents diet requirements!!!. Easy access off the highway. Room was very clean, everything functioned very well. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a restaurant attached for convenience. Check in was quick and the rooms were quite nice. We expected that the rooms would be nice being that the hotel has only been open for 4 months. The staff was efficient, accommodating, down to earth, and friendly. The look of the hotel is nice and modern and has a good restaurant attached. There is lots of parking and it's easy to locate. Staff were friendly. I like the location. Nothing!. It seemed there was a shortage of staff, housekeeping seemed to have challenges keeping up. The front desk also appeared short staffed, usually only 1 person to answer phones and guest inquiries. They were very helpful anf polite, there was just more demand than they could handle. Stove & kitchen vessels could have been more cleaner!. Heard the trucks on the highway during the night. The windows did not keep out the road noise. This hotel is on the corner of two very busy streets. I had asked for a quiet room so I was surprised when we were put on the noisy street. It would have been better to be on the parking lot side of the building. The restaurant attached to the hotel (Ricky's) has mediocre food. We ate breakfast there. Insufficient light in bathroom to put on makeup. The bath tub was very high, which made it difficult to get in and out of. key cards did not work initially. A bit of a walk from downtown area where the more interesting restaurants and bars are located. Mattress was not totally broken in. Dirty parking lot. There were dirty diapers sitting on the ground in the parking lot for the whole week we were there. Lots of trash and other litter as well. no pool. No complaints at all. nothing, everything was perfect. No pool. Everything was great. Not the best location if you want to walk around or go out for a drink at night. there was nothing we didnt like. nothing. Not enough hot water. Gym facility was too small. bed and pillows to hard a little uncomfortable. The mattress was not comfortable and even a little hard. We did not have a restful sleep. I was told no deposit but was charged a pre authorization on my credit card. I also wanted to rent a movie and couldn't because I had to put my credit card info into the tv in order it. No pool or gym. The hotel is located at a busy intersection and on the highway which is fine but the windows are so cheap you hear every car. The metal doors are heavy and our closer was installed wrong so the door wouldn't close unless pushed while other people's doors were slamming very loud. Walls were also thin and we could here the next rooms fans. Bring earplugs and don't spend a lot of time in the room and you will be fine. It's not clean.
