I am convinced the Hotel Ambassador is the best of the world.
I left my camera on the bus when I was sightseeing. When I realized that, I was just checking out and had to leave Vancouver in one hour. I didn't know what to do, then, I asked frontdesk of the hotel for advice. Don't be surprised!! She was kind enough to went to the office of the bus company and receive my camera. And then send it to me in Japan!! Believe of not, it was real story.

breakfast,staff,ambiance, location in the city center, all night clubs around.very nice place...Considering the area it is in , it was well protected and the front office seemed to watch over the place well. Helpful staff. Nice location. Clean.Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Pub next door has great food. We had to check out early so were unable to take advantage of breakfast (8-12 a.m.). Sharing bathrooms was not too big of a hassle. Good location, good to have access to a kitchen, good to have access to a laundry facility on the premises. It's a mixture between a hostel and a hotel (shared toilet, shower, kitchen), so if you don't mind that it's a nice place to stay. Walking distance to pubs/clubs at Granville St. and the commercial center in the Pacific Mall region. location is good,. cheap. It is not really a hotel, you know - more in the nature of a hostel. Assuch, it's just fine.location walking distance to main tourist attractions. downtown location. They changed our room without hassle. The second room was quiet and beds were comfortable. Location was very close to main downtown, counter staff was friendly. Nothing!!!!this is a hostel not a hotel...!. I definately would not stay again due to the parking situation. and the fact that the washrooms were down the hall. I really was nervous going out in the middle of the night. I had to park in front of the pub overnight. I asked about reserved parking and she said they had one spot?. Impossible to have breakfast before 9:00. Breakfast is free but you have to pay for the drinks. No elevator. Wireless internet is not accessible from all rooms, you have to go to the corridor to catch signal. toilet down the hall, but I understand that that's part of the low price. but ... bathrooms in corridor, two on a floor like one per 12 rooms. I had to pay for a cup of tea during the "included breakfast".It was nice that there was a community kitchen at the end of thehallway. However, the lights were switched off after dark. Plus, it wasvery dirty as other guests seemed to think that the fairies would cleanup after them: twice, we washed a huge amount of dishes and disposed ofgarbage as well as having to wipe dirty counters. wireless signal is too weak. have to go to lobby to access internet. shared shower and toilet.room no airco, breakfast not including beverages. expensive for non en-suite, no coffee machine etc compared to other hotels I've booked through you.The room allocated on arrival was not empty of last resident's stuff, The new room allocated was not prepared, beds not made up. The bathroom and toilets had no locks. The breakfast was not very good. very noisy. The toilet was outside the room and common its extremely low value for money, If no other hotel is available then book here, WiFi Internet was not connecting nor was any guiding brouchures available/provided for the WIFI connecting network and method.
