The staff were very welcoming an friendly made you feel you were home away from home gave us some great ideas on things to do an attractions. Cute wooden cabin beautiful inside an out. We will be returning again an will stay for a longer visit. We syayed with another couple in the elephant cottage. So cozy and with the view out the back one would think they were indeed in the midst of a rain forest. Very well equiped and very clean.

Use of the fire pit was an added bonus!. Very friendly staff and lovely cottage. The room is perfect for 4 people, cozy, clean and had all the necessary equipment. Price is reasonable at the time of visit. We stayed in the Elephant Cottage and loved the authentic rustic cabin. Towels were the best we have had, thick and luxurious with quality amenities also. The layout and design were amazing. Perfect for our family. Lots of space for the five of us. We didn't want to leave!. Cute cottage in the woods with visiting deer. Outdoor fireplace. Great location. Wish we could have stAyed longer. Everything was wonderful! The kitchen was well equipped which made cooking convenient. Fun cabin with the loft!. The pretty chalet fully equipped in a secluded treed area, lovely little town would go again. beautiful cabin, so much design and style. We would've loved to stay a little longer. There wasnt anything i didnt like. We really liked this place. We stayed somewhere else couple days before an by far the surf inn was best place we stayed at. Bunk beds are a bit short for taller people. While good use of available space, the ladder to loft was a dangerous (steep) to climb and the eating area was very tight. Could use a bit more counter space for food preparation sacrificing size of kitchen sink. Can certainly use a bigger TV. Cottage a bit uncomfortable with the bunks for second couple. Could manage a couple of nights but would be cramped for longer periods. Better suited for couples or with smaller children. Front office could be better presented as gave poor first impression but this was quickly changed when cabin viewed. Would have been good to have firewood supplied. on a steep hill and the extra bed would never work for anyone but very young...steep steps up a ladder to a bed high up not for seniors....the a joining cabin was extremely noisy the one night until my husband talked to them to keep it down after that it was fine.... Way too small and too expensive for what we had. We stayed in downtown Victoria for less and had way more room. That said, the area does seem to support these higher prices and it was among the cheapest offered for that area. I was glad to see the area and would maybe return if it was only for 2 people, but for 4 adults, way too small-sorry.
