This is a charming little boutique hotel that is well-kept, comfortable, and handy central Toronto's attractions. There were several eating establishments within easy walking distance and a major subway station is right across the street. The rooms were small and simply furnished but quiet and clean. Compared to nearby choices, this hotel offered excellent value. The down town location made it very convenient to get to our meeting the next day. Overnight parking was $19.00 and very close. Extra amenities were on a table in the hall so we were able to make that extra cup of coffee in the morning. It was very clean and reasonably priced for a Toronto downtown stay.

We're in Toronto for the Blue Jays games.The Wellesley Manor is close to stores, restaurants, walking distance to the Rogers Centre & if you don't feel like walking the subway is just across the street from the hotel. The rooms were clean, and well equipped. The location was great for our purposes--right across from the subway and close to restaurants and shopping. The owners have a good eye for detail--fresh tulips on the landing, etc. The staff were very accomadating The single room was in the lower floor which was very quiet and very clean On the day of checkout I was able to leave my luggage until the early evening which was very convienent for me. Room was small (European size) but adequate-everything was very clean. Very close to Wellesley subway. Inexpensive breakfast nearby. Overall, very satisfactory for our purpose (overnight stay to see a show). Really interesting place, clean and comfortable but pretty small rooms. Good location about 15mins walk down Yonge Street gets to entertainment district. Subway just across the road. The house was pretty, clean, cosy, quiet. the checking in and out process was very practical. the lady welcoming us was quite friendly. I loved the look of the house. You could hear noise from other guests inside the hotel. Difficult to contact staff (don't appear to be any on premises). Bathroom was pretty cramped would be awkward if you were very tall. No breakfast, no elevator so if you have heavy luggage don't choose this house. The space to meet guests was only in the corner of the corridor, very very small. the position of the bed was in the corner so the one sleeps in the wall side had difficulty to step down the bed. the TV remote control must be replaced, it didn't work.The rest was okay. nothing - it met our needs perfectly. Room on small side but nicely decorated. Would be nice to have couple of bottled waters for guests. The basement is extremely noisy due to the running subway. not a thing to complain about.. Subway rumbling. shower needed a more through clean. The bathroom is a little bit small. No computer or printer. Need to mail the manager if you want to print something. Very noise. I couldnt sleep becouse of the bar near hotel. Room is a bit on the smaller side. The bed is quite loud whenever one make even the slightest move. Nothing. no cable tv. No easy access to staff No information in room on hotel facilities or local ameNities, map, etc No warning that minimal staff availability at most times or obvious info on location of advice other than at front door. No lift. Noisy bar outside the window whereas the patrons stayed until 4am. Broken Toilet seat, the 2 hour wait to check in as no one was in. Called them but no one answered. No reception - it's like a B&B. Paid for a king room with seating area which turned out to be one chair and the room was tiny. Horrible bed linen - uncomfortable foam pillows and cheap polyester sheets. No staff ever to be found as no reception. small rooms subway noise.
