It all dépends on your notion of comfort. I found the residence perfect because, in my view, comfort = a plain way of life. Close to the Canada games that we were there to see. Daily cleaning of bathrooms and hallways. Fridge in every room. Quick responses from housekeeping office when there were problems e.g no power. Vicinity to swimming pools so we could support our daughter who was in swim competitions.

Friendly staff. Location. the scenery was nice but their were very little indications to find the office.we drove in circles for a while. Location is very good, very well connected by public transport, kind of value for money. Location & Price. Nothing. Nothing. It was just hapiness. Information given to us upon check in was in French only. no waste baskets in room. No elevator in bldg; suitcases were very heavy to drag up the stairs. Outdated bathrooms. No garbage can in room. Hard to find which building to check-in to on a very crowded campus. Very basic, vinyl floor, kitchen size fridge in room which was noisy, painted concrete walls and ceiling. Peeling paint in shower rooms and toilet rooms. Drive into town. Wi Fi patchy through ZAP Sherbrooke. Couldn't get the internet to work despite presence of wire in room. no air conditioning in the rooms. Did not know where to pick up keys upon arrival. When we finally found out, after much running around University, our information package given us was all in French. being a mature couple we did not appreciate not having a toilet in our room.the door kept banging every time somebody came in. There is no attached bathrooms, that was not told when I was making the reservations. Not even a wash basin in the room. There was no informations about the bus routes and time tables at the hotel. You have to walk 10 mins to get a coffee that too not before 11am on weekends. I woud have liked it more if there was at least a coffee wending machines at the residence. Noisy Fridge, Not quiet at all, you hear the students past midnight. Cheap interior (not like on the pictures). Thinnest pillow I've ever seen. I slept on a foldable bed with a thin matress. No WiFi. No TV Shared bathroom outside the room. The restrooms were terrible.
