From the moment we entered the Thyme Inn, Patrick and Tim, were excellent hosts, friendly, and well versed in the local beaches, restaurant and shopping. The Inn itself was beautifully furnished with antiques and decorated with excellent taste. Our room was large with en suite, decorated with antiques, and very comfortable, and quiet. Breakfasts were complimentary and prepared by one or the other of our hosts, and each breakfast was a different gourmet delight. The Inn's brunches and lunche.
all reviews » beautiful period hotel with beautiful decor, furniture paintings etc. Breakfast was perfect as was the evening candlelight dinner. The hosts were friendly and offered excellent tips for avoiding a 20km detour through Moncton. Despite finishing evening service they reopened the kitchen when other guests arrived late.. thats dedication. Lovely, large old house on main Street with beautiful furnishings. Large sitting room. Very comfortable room, excellent bed. There is also a Coffee House during the day serving gourmet pastries, etc. One of the hosts is a chef. Computer available for guest use. The Inn was all a person could ask for and very lovely. From the time we arrived til the morning we departed we could not of been treated better. We sat out on the front deck til dark with a fine glass of wine and the Breakfast the next morning was the best. We enjoyed the design and furnishings. Excellent beds and bedding. The young staff members were excellent as was the cleaning lady. Thank you. Very nice rooms, very large and comfortable. The owners are very helpful....nice coffee shop, can also have some wine and sit on porch. Tim and Patrick are Thema best and most friendly hotel owners in the World, perhaps we meet again ???. room, style of the building,decor,breakfast,carpark,farmers market with life music around the corner. Great staff and very helpful. Location and good breakfast. clean, nicely decorated. all except. No TV in the house. We, like others, had difficulty with the door locks. They do work but when customers are being shown to their rooms the owners do need to systematically demonstrate how the locks work. It seems minor but it is quite unsettling not bring able to lock your room and then having to awkwardky interrupt the owners when you want to go out! Perhaps the new owners will change them..... view from room ,weak wifi signal,. Did not like the wording private bath. This means across the hall. It was my mistake for not reading carefully. We were able to upgrade to an en suite bed and bath. Not the hotels fault. Nothing. Room 4 is to small for a couple and no T.V. anywhere. None in the rooms or sitting rooms. If I was to go there in June as a tourist and tour all day and want to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs at night there is no T.V.!!. not enough hot water.
