The location is wonderful. I found the stores absolutely useless in terms of real supplies, ie food and good drink. Ispent an hour getting a plug for my tub so I could use it. I was devistated that I could not heat water for coffee or tea. everything...nice place, very good facilities... It is not the typical hotel but luxary chalets for tourists and travellers. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good although very expensive.

I was devistated that I could not heat water for coffee or tea. I would prefer to have basic equiptment and no tv which I do not use. You could ask for a depost on hot water heater if you fear theft. The sound of the generator was really obnoxious. The price of food was expensive $3.68 for a small coffee. Gas was ridiculous at $1.89/litre. No Internet/wifi in room. front desk unattended at checkout time. Would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea!. Would not let us in prior to check in time. no complimentary breakfast. no clocks. Coffee in room would be good. Parking so-so. Needs some money spent on outdoor upkeep - paint and woodwork in need of tlc (and replacement). Cafe decor took me back about 30 years. Do not buy gas here. No coffee machine in the room. We had a small dog & did not realize until we arrived that the pet rooms were right beside the bar. Not fair or right. Of course it was noisy until after 12:00 a.m. as guests liked to visit outside after leaving the bar. no refrigeration. food selection in restaurants was mediocre at best, way behind the times. the food selection in the store was dismal, when you like fresh fruit, produce and healthy food. the facilities deserve a serious overhaul. Both rooms smell musty Meals extremely expensive Decking and outside stairs rotten,need repair. No Wi-Fi. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities is a serious defoiency. The place was in need of refurbishment - some of the external steps were collapsing. Also there was so little natural light into the room that we always needed a lamp on. The price is too high for the service received. High priced for what you get ... Rooms and food. The bathroom. The room aged smell and slanting floor. The old outside deck structure. The fixed heating system. I saw some ants on the bed. Unfriendly receptionist. No coffee making facilities in room. Cafeteria meals, coffee etc at rip off prices taking advantage of lack of competition. Restaurant closed for private function and alternatives limited. No fridge, no hair dryer, no wifi.
