We really enjoyed our stay at the Post House Inn. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly Inn owner Barbara. She was courteous and made us feel very welcome. We found our room to be very luxurious, beautifully furnished with a king size bed, on suite with jaccuzzi tub and kitchenette. It was so peaceful and quiet it felt like we were in the countryside, although we were only one block from away from town. all reviews » We loved our stay at the Post House Inn. The location is perfect - close to the main street, the Royal George Theatre, the golf course, and wonderful restaurants (onsite parking is provided). The Coach Suite where we stayed was perfect - even included a mini kitchen and was very spacious with great views over the pool area. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast each morning - fun to get to know the other guests. The Innkeeper, Barbara, was very welcoming, and gave us good suggestions for re. The B&B hosts were exceptionally friendly and informative. The atmosphere was inviting, friendly and social. We met interesting guests including a family from Norway and a couple from Britain. The house dated from 1835 and was beautifully furnished and updated. The location was perfect to walk to the theatres, restaurants and shopping. The breakfasts were freshly made with interesting and delicous dishes and fresh fruit. It was wonderful. Upon our arrival we had planned on staying one night but after being shown to our room and Inn Keeper Barbara was so very hospitable we decided to stay and celebrate our 50th anniversary a second night. Wonderful staff and delicious breakfast. Close walking distance to town and shops. Was lovely and we would absolutely go back. Terry and Marilyn Martell. The two owners, Barbara and Charley make this place a gem. They make everyone feel like you are special and go out of their way to be sure you have anything and everything you need and want. Also have good free wine tasting coupons for the local wineries. Really just one block from quaint main street for shopping and restaurants. Perfect place and free onsite parking. The room was absolutely beautifully appointed. It was like staying in a House Beautiful magazine! Luxury linens and decorated perfectly. Very comfortable as well. The owner was helpful and knowledgeable as well as friendly. On site parking was a big plus. And the gourmet breakfast was on time, plentiful and delicious. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! We went on a wine tour and forgot to bring glasses and a corkscrew, and both were readily available in the common area! Coffee was fresh, hot, and delicious first thing in the morning.... and the shower and in-room lavatory facilities were very clean. Wonderfully comfortable, clean, friendliness and hospitality that was provided by Barbara, the Inn keeper and her staff. It definitely felt like a home away from home and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend staying there and we are already planning our next stay there. Barbara, the owner, was an excellent Host. Breakfasts were excellent and we met some lovely people around the communal breakfast table. Would highly recommend this 5 star accommodation in the beautiful surroundings of Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful old restored historical building, great decoration, good food, very convent to the downtown, can just leave the car there and walk. Would love to go back and just relax there in the jacuzzi and swimming pool. The Post House was a beautiful place to stay. The room was fantastic. The meal was phenomenal and the owner and staff were extremely friendly. The location was excellent also. Christine took very good care of us, yet we had the utmost privacy while we were there. The Inn is absolutely stunning, and we can't wait to go back!. Barbara is a very gracious host. The inn is centrally located and is very comfortable and would be a romantic getaway destination. Five stars!!!. Quiet location very close to activities, a few minutes walk. Really enjoyed our stay and a great location, walking distance into Niagra on the lake District and a short drive from Niagra Falls. The inn was both elegant and comfortable. Breakfasts featured local fare imaginatively prepared. Our innkeeper was a great host. Location is perfect. Staff was the owners who were very personable and friendly. The room and all rooms in fact were all perfect. The location is great, just a few minutes to all theatres. We were made to feel welcome and the place was well maintained. Breakfast was good. Quiet. One room was quite dark - would pick another bedroom next time we visit. Can't think of a thing. This would be my first choice to stay in the area. Nothing that I could think of - everything was perfect. Breakfast was very small. Cannot complain about anything! Loved every moment. - not a thing!. Everything was great. The only difficulty we experienced was navagating the tv/cable. Too many remotes. No other complaints. Can't really think of anything I didn't like. The room was very small ( king sized bed took up most of the floor space) and the fireplace advertised was a small electric "stove" that couldn't be seen except from a wooden chair. Breakfast was inflexible, both time and food. nothing. I requested special things to be in the room at book-in and it was confirmed a couple of times but they were not followed through with, very disappointing. The pool was dirty. The heater in the hot tub was broken so it was cold. Was not aware of the pool. Nothing, it was ALL great!. Small TV in room. Computer on site could be updated. P.S. My son works for Lenovo--great computers. Room was poorly lit. No place with enough lighting to apply make-up. Our bed was slightly uncomfortable. One pillow was too soft, the other too hard. standard type breakfast. I did not receive a copy of my bill receipt that I was told would be in my email when I got home. It has never sent. This Inn felt like a self serve. Nobody to greet us on arrival. Told of welcome package, but did not receive one. I think the server for breakfast should not be wearing track pants and a baseball cap. We had stayed at 3 B&B's that week and the bed at your Inn was the least comfortable.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the inn. Should it be determined that smoking has taken place in a guest room, The Post House Inn will charge a CAD $250.00 cleaning fee, placed on the guest folio before or after check-out. Pet Policy: Only service animals are allowed. Please advise when making a reservation if bringing a guide dog or service animal into The Post House Inn so we may prepare for arrival accordingly. Third and Extra Person Fee: Room rates are listed for single / double occupancy. Additional adults sharing a room will incur a charge of CAD $75 per night, per person.
