I liked a lot the downtown location next to Concordia Unversity and the fact I could walk to nearby Crescent street bars and nightclubs. Dorm room and bed were clean, shared bathroom was ok too. Plus a free basic breakfast, excellent value, cheaper than a taxi ride home.
The staff at Bishop are grand. I had an amazing time there, and it attracts a great crowd of travellers. The hostel is laid back and warm, it was a real pleasure to stay in. Moreover, the beds were very comfortable, so was the bedding. The rooms were well kept.all reviews
I loved the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. Their room was
fully booked and I had to leave but they helped me find other hostels.
Oh and their rooms are alot bigger than other hostels i've stayed
in montreal.

Great location.
I found the bathrooms to be a bit...disheartening. You can't win them all I suppose. I wasn't a fan of the showers in particular.
Nothing really, but only inconvenient thing was that there would one be
one person at the reception and when he leaves to do other stuff, there
would be no staff to attend the customers. We all had to wait awhile.
But its okay I think.
