Staff was very helpful and we received restaurant coupons on top of the breakfast the hotel had to offer. It was very clean and the rooms had everything from tv to kitchen with full sized stove and fridge. It was cheaper booking it through letsbookhotel.com then paying at the front desk or online. We only needed a place to sleep and it was perfect for that. After 7 hours of driving, I looked forward to a quiet night's sleep - and it exceeded my expectations! The room was very comfortable and the breakfast items available in the office were a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great service!.
all reviews » The front counter person was friendly. We were staying with a pet so gave us a bottom back room. Like the laminate flooring cause it felt cleaner than most hotel rooms. It was very quiet. It was good value and adequate basic accommodation. Very kind treatment by the folks at the front desk all of them...they went out of their way to help us with an unanticipated day early check out. They were helpful with a wide variety of additional requests and very caring as well. The staff was all very friendly and outgoing . Asked why you were travelling to Kamloops and genuinely seemed to care. Room and bathroom were clean and very spacious. The kitchen in our unit was a added bonus for a teenage family. Straightforward booking. Staff were efficient. Room was spacious, although the washbasin was in the room just behind front door which seemed odd. Handy location close to other hotels, bars and liquor store. My Wife and I really liked the room and the staff was very friendly. The rate was also very reasonable. Overall a good value and a pleasant experience. Great location. Close to the aquatic centre where our daughter had a meet. They are dog friendly and we had a ground floor room out back which made it easy to take our dog out there is a nice grass area to walk them Location is good, Aberdeen Mall just minutes away lots of other shopping and restaurants in the area. easy access to everything lots of things to do in area. We are non smokers and it bothered us that we had share the same hallway (outside balcony to access our room) with people smoking, right in front of their room (and next to ours) although it is a non smoking hotel. I cannot think of one thing I did not like about the place as an overnight stay while traveling. In fact we were so pleased on our way through to the Kootenays that we booked a night on our return to Victoria. Pool was small, but considering a inexpensive nights stay, very adequate. Pool in the middle of the parking lot. The room needed a little TLC. The rug could be fixed and baseboards finished. the carpert on the walkway should be diferent but they are clean. Breakfast is minimal just toast, yogurt coffee and juice boxes available in the lobby. You have to take your food back to your room to eat as they have no seating area and unfortunately there is only 1 chair and no table in the room so makes it awkward to eat especially with children. Old TV's no flat screens. no hot tub.
