It really was a heritage house on the sea, in fact the road and the point were named after the family. The couple was lovely and wanted us to see all the sites nearby, so in spite of drizzly in the late afternoon they hopped in their car and led us around to Rocky Point from where big boats can be seen. It was a historic site as well, that we probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. We were invited to use the beautiful living room full of family furniture and after we returned from dinner, enjo. all reviews »
In this B&B you feel like you were visiting your family. Owners are very welcoming. We stayed there two nights and everything was great. Breakfast was composed mostly of home made products, which were delicious. We even got extra muffins and cookies for second breakfast.
We stayed two days at this BB. The couple that owns the house is extremely friendly. She does very nice homemade muffins for breakfast. The house itself is a old big countryside house on a hill. Just what you would imagine in PEI.
Heritage Home is an exquisitely restored and furnished 1860 farmhouse, managed by Miriam and Billy, who immediately made me feel right at home and catered to my every notion of what a perfect stay should be. It was magical!.
The house and location were fantastic as were our hosts.

Easy access to Charlottetown and other attractions.
It was on a potatoe farm and you could walk out to a private red sand sea beach. Very private.
It was a little far from downtown Charlottetown, but worth it to the see the original interior and families of a working farm.
The place is a bit a part from Charlottetown. But if you're driving it's just a 15-20m drive.
Absolutely nothing. I loved every moment.
Liked it all.
The mattress caved in a bit in the middle, but I slept we'll anyhow.
