everything! The welcome was lovely, the owner was there and chatted for a while while we waited for the couple in front of us to check in. The room was lovely with a great view and the bed was super comfortable. The bathrobes were great and super soft! We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a delightful walk after dinner, had we known how lovely it was we would have booked more time there.
all reviews » Saw some reviews that weren't great, but we found everything to be wonderful. The restaurant has new chefs, and the food was terrific. It is a restful and quiet place at this time of the year - late November, and enough snow for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, etc. Everything about this place is superb! Staff excellent throughout, log cabin was fantastic experience! So spacious great views. Best of all was the restaurant that everyone else had problems with. Food and service to die for thank you. Staff were very friendly and helpful; excellent customer service. Good value for the $$ I spent. I appreciated being able to stay at the same place I was working. The location suited us perfectly since we were visiting family at 108 Mile House, and we had a pasture view from our unit. Lovely setting in the country. Lots of recreation options. Room was very clean comfortable. Staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the hayride with the children. Was a nice activity to enjoy with them (6&7 yrs old). Halfway to Vancouver. quiet, good value for bed & breakfast. room was comfortable and staff were responsive and helpful. We loved everything and will be back. Wilderness setting, but close to Hwy. Friendly staff. A quiet location. Location,people,amenities. We loved the cross country ski trails. The countryside is beautiful and the trails were well maintained. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Although we didn't use them, we noticed the tubing and ski runs and the skating rink looked great. Nice cabins to stay with family. Good food. Nothing at all. nothing. Thought we were getting a room with a single queen - but turned out to be 2 beds. That means only one chair to read in... But still a comfortable room. N/a Only stayed 1 night, my fault!. I found the resort and room to be "tired" and in need of updating. I found the Queen size bed a step down from the king size bed I'm used to. Also, the bed was weak in the middle. Vehicle got stuck in parking area. Tow truck driver said many vehicles get stuck in same place. Nothing. the food is horrible. part cooked, over cooked, and ALL previously frozen. The facilities in general seem run down and dated - particularly the hotel rooms. Bedding in many hotels these days involve the double sheet system (duvet sandwiched between two white sheets so the top sheet can be changed each time), instead of a duvet cover that doesn't get changed. I recommend it - it looks cleaner and more up to date and it is cleaner. The food was mediocre. Poorly maintained - weeds everywhere, couches had holes in the upholstery, rugs were worn, wallpaper was worn, decks were rotting. Quite expensive to take part of the activities. No air conditioning in the cabins. The beds were terrible. They where slow to refill our guest coffee in our room. Also to rent a snowmobile was to expensive. The hotel and the cottages need some renovation. Everything is old and smelly. The price is too high for their standard. Waiting over an hour to gain entry into our room. Cost of buffets. My friend and I had a facial. It was very poorly and unprofessionally done. We were left unattended for at least 20 minutes at one point during the treatment at which point I felt the gal giving the facial could have been giving a massage etc. she came back into the room, checked me and said I had another 10 minutes.. I felt like I was being baked. The room I was in was very warm and stuffy. This facial was not worth the $119.00. The cleanliness. tired sagging bed old towels has not been upgraded in years. Feels dirty.
