Situated close to hiking trails in Vitosha mountains cirka 2 k:s from nearest village. Martin, the owner gave us a lift from the village center. Martin speaks very good English which is rear in Bulgaria. The hiking trail devides in to three close to the hotell. One leads to the monastary & the chair lift, one to the nearby village of Britsitsa and the third one up along the stream to the second part of the cabin lift which takes you almost to the top of Vitosha mountain, 1880 m).
all reviews » The location is unique - out of the way, within the Park Vitosha, surrounded by forest. The staff is very friendly and made our stay extremely pleasant. The breakfast banichki were delicious. The air was cooler due to the location, so we did not miss having air conditioning. Excellent Hotel, Great Accommodations , Clean, very friendly staff. The Hotel is almost in the forest, great nature around and not far from Centre of Sofia. Even when it's a business trip it worth the effort to stay there. Martin was very helpful and nice, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Also the location in a forest was very quiet, but still not so far from the city center - about 25 minutes by car. Very nice accomodation, clean, spacious, quiet, romantic. Bad is very good and you can really rest in such a quiet environment in the middle of the wood... Very helpful and nice staff. We got wet during a hike and there was no chance to get our clothes and shoes dry in the hotel. The hotel is difficult to find. The road to reach the hotel is terrible ( a main problem for all Sofia) and there is no directions signs to reach the hotel. The access road was in a bad condition. Not very good road to the hotel. Some road signs need to be installed that will inform guest how to reach hotel. A bit difficult to find it, as the address was not very precise and there were no signs on the road. It was little bit cold in room. Road leading to hotel is terrible. Hotel is undergoing renovation. Hard to find...they must plant signs down the main road in Simeonovo, our gps itself did not locate the hotel. Anyway, road up through the forest to hotel pays off. Difficult to find. TV channel is limited. So beautiful hotel. But it is not visible in my cars gps system.
